Comment: Thank you for the postcard! It might not have been ugly to start with but the front looks like it got in a fight with a post office stamp machine and lost, haha. Now it has a lot of character! Thank you again :-)
Comment: Thank you very much for the cool PC from Etsy of the snow covered mountain. I thought I was the only one to order PC's Etsy, ha! But guess not. I get from there all the time. I even find some for 35 cents each. Can't beat that! Take care & keep safe!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful botanical PC! I'm with you on 4-8. I have a lot of stuff and I'm trying to organize it all. I think I hear my stuff laughing at me every time I say the "O" word. Have a Happy Easter and stay safe!
Comment: Thanks for your nice letter.
I am retired so used to being home. My wife was out of work for two weeks and was going stir crazy. Probably more from being with me 24/7. Exercise is a challenge. They closed the beaches, which were the best places to walk while staying away from others.
Comment: Thanks for writing so quickly! I am struck by how much we have in common. I'm also a writer and artist who has done printmaking and I used to LOVE Greco-Roman stuff among other things. Let me know if you ever want to do a private swap.
Comment: I hope you are safe and well during the pandemic as well. I'm glad that toilet paper is making an appearance, finally!
Living in a rural area, working with the person I live with in a building that's closed off to public and only allowing us (security) and housekeeping inside and being an introvert is probably putting me in a very low-risk category.
Stay safe <3
Comment: Thank you for the nice notecard. I think we're all in the same boat with trying to keep busy while stuck at home. It would be a good opportunity to get some cleaning done, but I would rather watch movies and work on swaps!
Comment: Loved your list.. I've never heard of Bohemian crochet.Have you tried it yet? With self isolation this is a good time for all of us to learn some thing new. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and healthy. bearnbabs
Comment: Interesting poem -- thanks. To answer your question, yes, I read a lot of poetry, almost all by living (usually famous) poets) and I belong to a poetry writing class so I hear their poems too and they hear mine.
Comment: Hi Erica, Im sure they make wonderful pizza there. I have to admit the best pizza I ever had in my life I got in the US. Its always good to have these places in your phone incase of a....pizza emergency lol .Thanks for sharing
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card, Erica! I have a long-haired German shepherd named Remi. The one from the card - in a scarf and socks - is so cute and looks just like him ;) Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the notecard and stickers, Erica. I really like the silver "you are beautiful" ones! YES to cozy clothing! My husband took me shopping today for a new robe, slippers, and pajamas, because it's getting colder here, which I love. CIao Erica!
Comment: Thank you for the cutest card ever! Love it! Yes, we here do dress up for Halloween. But my family & I are very ill with some kind flu type thing. So no costume this year, frown! I hope you have fun in your deer costume. Have a Happy Halloween!
Comment: Thank you for the cute Halloween card as well as the stickers you sent. I enjoyed reading your story as well, I have been to Gettysburg several times and always hoped to see a ghost, but never have. Thanks for sharing your story, definitely something you will remember forever!
Comment: Thanks for the nice PC and your list.
My biggest desire is to learn about Japanese culture and more of the language. I use Anime for some of that but have learned that the dubbed English doesn't always say the same thing as the spoken Japanese soundtrack. We can't just translate, we just have to Americanize.
Comment: Thanks for the chunk and note.
I was vegetarian for almost three years, when in the last of my teens. I am eating meatless more now because my favorite five-year-olds are vegetarian and I don't eat meat in front. of them.
Comment: Thank you Erica, for the swap. The postcards are terrific. I especially like the vintage Arles cathedral card. Thanks also for taking time to write a note. In our busy lives, that humanness over a swap card speaks volumes of character in my books!
Comment: Oh man! Short and to the point, I can't believe they didn't call everyone up and let y'all know they were moving!! Or at least let you know when they call to confirm your appointment! I hope your week has improved! Thank you for the lovely extras. :)
Comment: Erica, i love love love your Mermaid Oracle! I once saw this picture which i liked so much. A young boy, with a huge shell at his ear, listening. He smiled a bit but the picture had also something melancholy to it. It reminded me that i had to turn inside as a child because the outer world was insecure, even threatening. And now you re-awake this picture within me and link it to the picture of a hazel tree. And imagine, my current tree ally is a huge hazel tree by the river. I sit under this tree, reading letters or books and there is security now. I believe that trees can help us grow... Composition also touched me deeply. You are very talented. A huge thank you for sharing your poetry with me! If you feel like hosting this swap again, i'm in! Ciao!
Comment: Erica, thank you so much for your letter and sharing your crappy story with me. So sorry you are having to deal with so much. That must be awful! I wish you all the best as you slowly try to heal and maintain some normalcy in your life. Hang in there!
Thanks for the stickers!
Comment: Marked as mailed late on Jan 30, when deadline was Jan 28. Had no contact from her until I reached out on Feb 19 as swap had not been received. She responded right away and said she’d resend. Mar 2: I still have nothing. Will rate a 1 for now and will change my rating if I get something. Mar 6: Priority mail envelope arrived. Thanks for the resend.
Comment: Thank you for your comment! I can relate to having trouble with the attention span and books. I used to use audiobooks as a way to handle my attention span, because I drove a lot. When my attention started to wander, and I noticed I hadn't paid attention to the last chapter, I'd switch to something else.
Comment: Not your fault but I'm going to cry, because I received this one in a USPS damaged mail envelope, and literally the only thing I can read on (what's left of) the back is my address and the word "Bella"! The postal service can be so freaging awful! I can tell it is a uniquely shaped postcard with a succulent on the front, which is very cute, so I can at least rate. Here's to better luck next time. X-(
Comment: Not that I'm here to judge your resolution, but I think it is an excellent one. I also LOVE that you sent me a Minnesota card from New Jersey, with cows on it that look just like the Holsteins that live down my road a bit! My mom grew up on a dairy farm so I'm letting her put the card on this wall thingy where she puts stuff she likes to "see." She's mostly blind, but goes up close and squints and the things sometimes just to enjoy seeing things she likes. Thanks so much, and I hope your 2019 is the best year yet!
Comment: Thanks Erica! Love the tea ,the stickers are cute love the postcards and the card was awesome. Red cardinals always make me think of my late mother in law and the stamps made me smile too. Thanks for your thoughtfulness.
Comment: I totally understand about having a hard time choosing a favorite Christmas movie. I watch the new Hallmark Christmas movies every year and sometimes one or two from years past. I also love the Santa Clause movie series. I think my favorite of these is the Santa Clause 2. They hold fond memories for me of watching them when my kids were little.
I hope you have a very happy holiday season! : )
Comment: Hi! Thank you for stop by and say hello! I had goosebumps while reading what happens to you yesterday. If I were you, I can't imagine how loud i'd scream. LoL
Have a good day and keep away from 8 legs monster!
Comment: Thank you for the cute pc! The dog on it doesn't look like he has much fun. I grew up with dogs, and my mom has had so many. Thanks to her I have a love for "attack dogs". I have never had a dog of my own, but I'd really love to.
Comment: Love the PC, and your grandma's sign! We needed one of those at home growing up as my dad was the only one that smoked and my mom banished him to the garage every time he lit up! She was forward thinking too! Thank you!
Comment: Hi, your handwriting was a bit hard to read, so I missed goals 1 and 3 is some sort of video? but good luck on reading!
Response: Ah! Sorry about that! I wrote that I wanted to finish crocheting the scarf I'm working on, finish reading the book I'm reading, and go to a yoga class or do a yoga video at home. Thank you for rating!
Comment: Thank you so much for sending me such lovely poems! I'm jealous of your creative writing! I've always wanted to write my own poetry but I just don't have the creativity for it. Also, thanks for the extras (:
Comment: Every hour does sound exhausting, but they're such lovely birds - after their awkward "look ma new feathers" baby phase lol. We have a budgie and my dad has two conures and a parrolette. Thank you SO much for the Little Mermaid postcards. I'm framing them and putting them up with my other Ariel stuff. Kind of obsessed.. since it came out, tbh lol.
Comment: Thanks so much for the card, Erica! What a cool series it is - art from the Holocaust - I really like it! And thank you so much for the post cards; I'll put them to good use!
I hope that the doctor's visit helped and that you start to find some strategies or medications to help with your sleep problems. My fiance suffered from a sleep disorder for many years and I know how frustrating something like that can be.
Good luck and best wishes to you! xoxo
Comment: Erica, thank you for the note about your day and lovely extras! I love yoga too and try to practice everyday. I do Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. If you don't know about her, you should check it out.
Comment: I wanted to check out Bearizona when we visited the Grand Canyon a few years ago but we didn't have time. I love birds. I've never had one as a pet (I'm sure I will eventually) but I keep bird feeders on our porch and have to refill them every couple of days.
Comment: Sorry your day was so stressful, but maybe your new doctor will turn out to be a blessing. I flipped for the card--I'm a huge Jane Goodall fan! I will be looking into that org. The card and envelope are just lovely and I love the stickers so much! Thank you :D
Comment: Thank you for the Mercury PC. I have been interested in space travel ever since I was in school and read my first novel about trips to the moon. I just wish that they would not have slowed so much on developing maned flights.
Comment: Thanks for your lovely note with picks of recent projects. I enjoyed seeing what your crocheted paper weights looked like. No, I don’t have an Etsy shop. Good for you though! I’m excited to try the green tea with mint. Great swap!
Comment: Thank you, Erica, for the envelope of random items! I am delighted with every single thing plus your nice note. The stickers are adorable and the postcards are perfect, and tailored to my profile. Now that’s an extra special package!!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful letter and awesome vegan recipes! I love that you make a point of cooking vegan- I’m sure you and others benefit. Healing hugs to you and pets for all of your animals... Happy Swapping
Comment: Hi Erica. Thanks for the pc. My sisters and my dad visited here on our way to visit another sister in CA. It was really a hot day, but the temple was pretty. Thanks for the card! Yes, I'm well and hope you are, too!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely card and beautiful stickers!! The holidays have been rather sad for me these last 4 years. My kids are all grown now. Hoping to volunteer somewhere this year. Have a good holiday season!
Comment: Hi Erica
I have just got home and guess what is in my post box - my swap from you, eventually. Thank you so much for resending it. I really like the contents! I am very into everything swap-bot 😃Wishing you happy days. Regards Cindy-Anne
Comment: Hi Erica! Thanks very much for the cute kitty greeting card, postcards and stickers. I loved the engraving print cards, the Lyndon Johnson one was hilarious, and the B-Day one I will use right away (perfect for my gem of a friend in TN). Thanks for making my day great!
Comment: Thank you for the teas, I've always wanted to try stash teas☺ wish it could have been a little bit personal... a note or a sticker at least... I know it's a swap but it would have been nice to see a little personality ... but thanks
Comment: That's a great PC of a dog! I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 7 chickens. During the spring and summer, I also have literally dozens of baby raccoons. I let them go when they are g
rown to 16 weeks old.
Comment: Received the teas yesterday - had the Pomegranate Pizazz this morning and it was indeed full of pizzazz! :^) Thanks for all the thoughtful extras as well. You went above the call of duty in fixing the initial mistake that was caused by a third party, and I appreciate that.
Comment: Hi Erica! I love the vintage reproduction pc - it is so cute! It does sound like you had a very busy day - I was tired just reading all about it! Hope you get to feeling better! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome cotton yarns you sent!! Love, love, love them all, the colors are great!! Thank you so much and you should be getting your package in the next day or two. : )
Comment: Hello Erica and thank you for your Halloween card for the swap! Yes, your card sent me a "glow in my heart" as the style house, in art work on card, is like house my late husband & I owned back during 1990s. Fun to see all the smiling pumpkins. Happy October!
Comment: Thanks for the fun postcard. My, some of them are ugly! Don't you wonder who really buys these things when they are brand new? I am really going to have fun with these and thank you for taking time to pick such fun and interesting stuff for me.
Comment: Thank you very much for the postcards and i adore the envelope you sent. You are lucky that you found medication to help, I was on some but I realised it made everything grey. Few years off it and finally getting back the colour, I take diazepam once in a while (had a bottle of 15 from october lol) that help me when I am cycling down. Or if I wake up with a dissociative day it stops all of that :)
Thank you very much for being in my swap and I hope to see you in another :)
Comment: Beautiful postcard! We don't have any birds ourselves, though sometimes wish! Currently, just don't have the room for a cage or anything. We do like to watch the ones outside - cardinals, jays, mockingbirds, and several pair of wild doves!
Comment: Erica, Thanks a bunch for the Horticultural Society PC... I never have liked really hot weather very much, and I have some mobility problems this year so I think this summer I'll hang out at home where it's cool - and read read read~!
Comment: I was just starting to give up on this as lost, but it arrived today - I make that 2 months and 12 days! It looks like the envelope was slit open (whether legitimately or not I don't know - first time it's happened for mail to my home address, I think), so I don't know if it's all there, but there were lots of lovely things, thank you :)
Comment: Thank you - awesome pc! I remember that painting from a book I had of Art History for young people. Good luck on finishing your goals - the Marriage Game sounds like an awesome book, I think I'll see if the library has it :)
Comment: Thank you for the Renoir. Love it! No, my Grandma would have none of this! I still live in fear of Catholic Religious Paintings from growing up. Heart punctured with swords and flames? = okay, Nudes? = burning in eternal hellfire.
Comment: Thanks so much for the delightful marimekko card. I used to haunt the marimekko store in Miami for sale items (which were all I could afford). I had marimekko sheets for awhile. I think they promoted great dreams!
Comment: Thanks for sharing! I definitely understand crocheting to help cope with illness, I have spent much of the last 3 years crocheting to cope with depression. I'll have to check out your etsy site, sometime soon! =)
Comment: Your project turned out nicely and what a nice way to share your work with others! I enjoyed seeing the other projects you made recently. It was also mighty thoughtful of you to include the postcards with your letter - thanks.
Comment: Thank you so much for the San Fran postcard! I absolutely love it! I've been there once but didn't get to see all the sights that I wanted to see so I am totally jealous of your friend as well! lol :D <3
Comment: Hey Erica thanks so much for the Golden Gate Bridge postcard it's my first from California thanks so much .. Haven't seen the Golden Gate Bridge but I been to California haha well happy swapping :)
Comment: Thank you so much for this beautiful postcard! In the Russian version, too, has a similar tale "THE SCARLET FLOWER". I love to watch cartoon and Disney "Beauty and the Beast" and Russian "The scarlet Flower"
Comment: 26 Jan: Thank you for re-sending when the first one didn't arrive! 14 Feb: Thank you for the original postcard :D It took nearly two months to get here—I wonder what kept it? BTW, both postcards had a return address on them!
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you got the second one. That's the last time I send a postcard without a return address on it! lol. Happy swapping!
Comment: Hi, for the astoria card... yes, I've been there. There is a really great maritne museum and it was where the movie "goonies" was filmed. It's a great area. Also thank you for the sponge bob postcard, my. Kids are huge fans.
Comment: Thank you Erica for your postcard, it arrived safely! I have never been a fan of earl grey tea, it reminds me if when my father passed away and that was all that was in the cupboard. Guess it just reminds me of such a horrible time. I do like Russian caravan tea, such a cool name.
Comment: Thank you for the note cards and the extra postcards Erica! I hope they all arrived, as the envelope was open at one end. There's a good number of cards, so I'm guessing that nothing fell out. :)
Comment: Hello Erica, thanks for your card. Yes I know Frieda Kahlo and her work. Always a bit tragic. Once I saw a very good documentary about her life and work on tv. A heart for choosing an art postcard.
Comment: Erica, thanks for the great letter! Do let me know how you like your new books (via comments on my profile page). I have a lot of crochet and knit projects that have been sitting there for a while. One afghan (98%), one knitted tee (95%), and one cute sweater (70%). I'll finish them one day!
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard! I love it! I wish I had a pool I could go to. We don't have one here at the house and I really don't know if I want to join a public pool....I just don't have the time to go swimming all the time to allow for the money I would have to pay. If I go traveling I take my bathing suit just in case. :)
Comment: Hi Erica - thanks for your postcard featuring mermaids! I live in the middle of the Great Lakes in Ontario, so have only swum in the sea a few times - in Florida and in British Columbia, and once in the Mediterranean when visiting Turkey. I loved it, but maybe I didn't know enough about sea creatures to be afraid! Jen
Comment: Belated thanks for your PC in May. I'm never fooled by nice photography for frozen pizzas you cook at home. The ones here always suck!! I'm assuming yours do too. :P That round US postage stamp looks great on the brown cardboard, btw. :)
Comment: Love the mermaid! I do like playing in the surf on the Oregon Coast -- but that isn't an area known for sharks! I also have what I call the "world's smallest agate collection" -- meaning that I have collected very small agates! They are all over the Oregon beaches, and my whole collection fits in an old, very small, medicine bottle! Love beachcombing! Happy swapping!
Comment: Hi Erica
I just got your postcard for the "chunk o cardboard" swap. I cannot get any of my devices to allow a rating. I don't know why...I will keep trying. ..not sure if its too late after swap or what?! However, I am not sure that what you sent constitutes as a piece of cardboard anyway. I do appreciate the cheery wish for the New Year though :)
Comment: Erica, everything you sent me was wonderful! I especially liked the note card with the bunny & cat on it. I had 2 holland lop-earred bunnies named Snuggles & Olga that passed away on me this past summer. They died of old age, and are very missed. Happy New Year!
Comment: Thanks for the goodreads connection and for joining this swap! :) Looks like we have totally different tastes in books! I look forward to browsing your read + rated and finding some new reads!
Comment: Love the Mucha postcard! Such vision he had! We are having amazing weather in NC now, tho the last couple of nights have been cold, but the days are just gloriously perfect!! Thanks for the great card!
Comment: loved the pc :D tooo cute
no cats sadly in this house :( i want one though but will have to wait till i move out to do so.
we got a doofy german shep/border collie mix dog who has anxiety issues and squeaks like crazy and drives everyone up the walls with it, and my sister has a fish ^ ^'
Comment: Thanks for the cute kitty postcard! Sooo cute! I had a cat for 9+ years, but he went missing 2 years ago. :( I am still sad about it. I haven't gotten another one yet. Let me know if you get one! I want to see pictures :) I LOVVVVE kitties!!! Thanks again. Have a great weekend!
Comment: I love postcards too. It's funny I never even thought of postcards until I started at Swat-Bot and now I collect and display them. Thank for the beautiful card and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and joy in the New Year. Your postcard swap friend.
Comment: Thank you for the christmas card. It seems strange to get one when it's been over 90 every day. The stores even have christmas and thanksgiving things out now. It's a bit too early for that I think, who knows, maybe valentine stuff will be out next month! lol.
Comment: thanks so much for the lovely comments! i would totally take the recipe if i knew max would eat them. haha he prefers the butterfingers that are NOT diabetic friendly. even though i tell him he shouldn't be eating them at all! men! =P
Comment: Yay! I get to start wrecking. I'm going to have a hard time not binging on it--I've already done the first few pages. Tempted as I am, I'm not going to read ahead. Thanks for the extra treats, Tanya
Comment: Hi! How fun that you love libraries as well! I think our library is pretty busy, but it is a rural town, so maybe that has something to do with it. I have not tried journaling - I probably don't "need" another craft going!! lol - Happy reading and swapping! ;)
Comment: So you're a veggie too? Greetings, fellow veghead! :D I also read The Picture of Dorian Gray in my sophmore year (well, the summer before it). I was a big fan of the story as a kid, but I never actually read the book until I was fourteen. And yes, I did see the film! The book was much better than the film, of course, but I believe that Ben Barnes did great justice to the role. And Colin Firth makes any film better as well! Greco-Roman is my favourite as well, along with Norse mythology. You seem really awesome! Have a nice day too. :D
Comment: Thank you for the nice comment! I went through a rough 3rd trimester with my daughter, and dont know about havind another, but I have always dreamed of adopting, and really hope you get to fulfill you're dream! Happy Swapping:-)
