Hi, my name is Kathy, I live just outside Houston, Texas.

When I receive your swap - I rate immediately. Because that is important to me too.

Almost all my swaps are ready to complete by the time my "send to" person is assigned. They usually go out the following day. If I don't have something in my stash - I may have to go shopping to find something just perfect for you.

DISLIKE: Non-raters. It makes me sad when I work really hard on a swap project and the recipient doesn't immediately run to their computer one second after they have admired it to post a rating. LOL

Cool things to find in an "envie" cocktail napkins, washi tape, good quality note cards like Hallmark, naked postcards (old or new) any kind of stickers, humor, vintage photo's, collage, cool used stamps to craft with (noncollectable)

If you make a ATC, APC, inchie or "whatever" and take the time to send it to me, I will value it forever.

I work very hard to maintain my perfect 5.0 rating. If you do not receive a swap from me, it's been lost in the mail (it happens). Please message me and I will send another. Thank you in advance for your communication on swaps, and thank you for rating!

Comment: WOW Kathy!!! Amazing journal!! I absolutely love it!!! I can’t wait 2 use it!! I love all of the embellishments and enough room to write also!! Yes we are neighbors!! You are the closest I think I’ve swapped with. I wish we could have craft meet ups also. Most are up north in the Woodlands or Katy or Spring. There is a bookmaking group I used to be a part of that meets once a month. I have been thinking of joining again. One other swapper from the Woodlands was interested so I forwarded her the email when I received it about the meeting. If you’re interested I can do the same for you. Once a month someone from the group volunteers to teach a certain type of binding or bookmaking. Usually it’s a simple one. We just pay for supplies. Sept. cost is $10 but I will be out of town & can’t go. They also ask that you become a member of the Printing Museum since that’s where they meet to help support the museum. Again thank you so much for the fabulous journal!!!!!
Response: Oh I am so glad you loved it. I think I should make 2 of these at a time, because I make such a mess. I don't know how people keep their supplies organized. Love your background, the works, and the stitching as well - it always adds such a great finishing touch. And thank you as well for the extra little collaged pocket and attached clip on - love them!
Response: I favor an artist on Etsy called Vera Lane. She sells images I use in crafting. Very adorable stuff. I color & highlight with Copic markers. Thanks for joining my swap, I will host some more! I recently mounted 100 of my favorite ATC on a canvas frame for my office. It's incredible & now I must collect some more! ❤️❤️❤️

Comment: Hi Kathy, I hope you had a great trip to the beach? Thanks for the postcard, love it! Did you know we Belgians were an item in the Pulp Fiction movie. They were surprised that we put mayonnaise on our French fries and had a long conversation about it. It is good! You must try it. Your image on the pc made me think of that scene again. Strange but true.💌
Response: Well, our Air B&B got cancelled due to construction, so we never got to go. We bought a monthly AMC movie membership, so we have been watching a lot of movies! School has started here and we are still in a heat wave - 20+ days over 100+! Stay cool where you are! Thanks for rating!
