About Me

I am living in North Carolina now, having just moved from Florida. Moved here to be closer to family and near my grandchildren. I will be turning 60 this year and don't know where the years have gone, or how I got to this age so fast! I am semi retired, was administrative assistant for an adult day care with mostly alzheimers, dementia clients.

Favorite Crafts

I love scrapbooking and card making! These are the only crafts I do. I love all kinds of paper, but mostly lighter colors and pastels. No dark or skull and cross bones. I collect all kinds of flowers (stickers or embellishments) for my cards. I also have a passion for different or unusual notecards that are store bought. I'm always looking for pretty, feminine, unusual ones. Pink is my favorite color for anything!!

Favorite Books

I am a reader. Like romance, romance with suspense, mysteries, and biographies.

Favorite Music

Listen to all kinds of music, mostly country, classic country, 80's, jazz, blues

Comment: Love the beautiful Butterfly Card - I've collected a number of butterfly die-cuts and stamps (basically an obsession) but I haven't made that many cards with them yet.. It's great to meet others on swap-bot with similar interests and I enjoy seeing what others can do. Sandwich is a fun name and we love the comments when people hear it. Response: Yes, I have been on the boat, on several different trips. It is really cool what you see down there! They take you out and about, at one point by an old ship that's been in the water forever, fish swimming in and out of it. Very interesting place!
