I joined Swap-bot in Aug. 2020. Years ago I scrapbooked but now all my supplies are just boxed away. One thing led to another and that led me here! What better way to use my supplies then in 🐌 snail mail?

I’m in my 40’s, married, have two children, three fur babies 🐶 🐶 🐱, two grand fur babies 😂🤷🏻‍♀️, and have lived in the same state all my life. I love the Lord with all my heart. I teach kindergarten and first grade at a Christian Academy, love to shop at thrift stores, enjoy cooking and learning new recipes, like to read when I find the time, am addicted to YouTube videos of mom vloggers, dumpster divers, crafters, and Dollar Tree haulers 😂😂. I love to Bible Journal & doodle. I’m a big kid at heart which is why I belong in Kindergarten! 😂 I love crafting and toys. Puzzles and games. Drawing and coloring. I’m also a breast cancer survivor 💕

September- November 2020 has been especially difficult for me.. I spent almost a month of that time thinking that cancer had returned. I had to go through a few procedures, a biopsy and a surgery then finally they confirmed that, amazingly, I did not have cancer! My doctors and I decided that a complete hysterectomy would help me considerably. So, on 11-12-20 that’s what I had done. I’m currently (11-21-20) in the healing stages.

SOCK SWAPPERS I wear size 9-11 socks. No show, or right under the ankle socks are my favorite but I will also wear crew socks and even knee high socks in the winter.

12-19-20 Really getting into the vintage theme lately, so anything vintage looking would be awesome!

My favorite colors are bright pinks, blues, yellows and purples. But really I love color, with only a few exceptions.

I love different themes from bright and bold colors to soft and shabby chic. Retro, Vintage, Kawaii, Christian, Inspirational.

Coffee I love caramel macchiato.

Herbal Teas - Chamomile is my fave. But currently hooked on Caramel Apple Dream Celestial Tea

currently had a hysterectomy so the following annoyances that have developed into dislikes may be a result of my current emotional state! 😂 It’s so good to be a woman! 😂🤣😅

Not getting a ❤️ When I send extra or put in a lot of my time on making things. Does that make me picky? Vain? I don’t know. Lol, I just know that I always leave a heart if someone has taken the time to make their swap special. That includes extras, handmade items that obviously isn’t just thrown together, even if they take the time to add a handwritten note. Why be so stingy with your hearts? They don’t cost you anything and they look so pretty. If you don’t like what you get, stop joining in Sender’s Choice swaps. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪😂

Which brings me to... drum rolllll ... you know it, Not getting rated at all. I don’t enjoy chasing after my ratings. If you don’t receive my swap, LMK, please. If I resend something, please, LMK if you get it. Swap-Bot is set up on the foundation of a rating system and I (especially as a newbie) need your ratings.

Aaaaaand don’t even get me started on those that drop a rating without saying anything. “thanks” isn’t that hard. Oh gosh. I’m on a roll now. Better stop before y’all think I’m rude. 😂

I love mysteries (the fun kind that either have an animal or recipe), romance (historical, regency, inspirational, paranormal), fantasy, and young adult fiction. Basically, I like to read!

I’m not angry, this is just a reminder. Please don’t read it as I’m angry. I’m pretty laid back.

Been on this site for a bit over a month and I’ve learned one thing the hard way, to my chagrin. I made the mistake of contacting someone with a concern about a swap but I had misread the directions. I’m thankful for 2 things. One, that I privately messaged them my concern and, two, that they handled it so well and corrected me with decorum. I only ask to be treated the same way. If you want to point out something I did wrong in my ratings (which has happened a couple of times already), please, please, reread the swap directions BEFORE leaving the comment. Chances are that you might have misread something just as easily as I could have. Thank you.

That being said, I believe communication is the key. I will not leave a bad rating until I’ve exhausted all other forms of communication. Please message me if there is a problem with a swap or if you’re wondering why I haven’t rated yet. I always rate when I receive the swap.
