I've just moved back to the US and I'm getting organized so I can start doing some swaps!

I'm a music junkie, a music/book/tv reviewer for an online publication and avid reader. I'm a huge photography buff. My Nikon D50 is my love and my new Sony W120 is in my purse at all times. I don't want to miss a shot! I love to photograph people, scenery and nature. Taking pictures of my family is obviously my favorite. I love to just walk through town snapping away at whatever strikes my fancy.
I'm married to a sailor with 3 daughters, so that should win me pity points! :)

Lovin' the TV.... even from over here, I still stay current on the US shows...and of course, UK Big Brother! I watch House, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Saving Grace, The Closer, Rescue Me, Damages, Bones, Boston Legal, Brothers and Sisters, Dexter, Psych, Heroes, Burn Notice, The Tudors, The Riches, Eli Stone, ...and about 30 others! :) I'm a total reality TV junkie....

I have such a wide range of tastes in music. I love just about all kinds, I'm not into rap or country very much. Not into Michael Jackson or stuff like that either. But, some of my favorites are The Editors, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Ryan Adams, Grant Lee Phillips, Haujobb, VNV Nation, The Smiths, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley, Richard Hawley, Wisely, Elbow..... I'm always up for listening to new music, so I'm very open minded.

I love Biographies ...of just about anyone. I love non-fiction reads. I love Nick Hornby, Carl Hiaasen, Janet Evanovich. But, romance novels (Harlequins or the old fashioned bodice rippers) aren't my thing though. I like good stories.. I have all my books and my reads on my Shelfari page.

I collect books of all kinds, thimbles, postcards and coffee mugs.

I'm not a really crafty person but, I'm trying! I've been making postcards and bookmarks. I have recently been trying some ATC's.

I really believe in the rating system here, I think that everyone should be rated honestly and fairly for their efforts. I put as much effort as possible into the swaps I send, and it's really frustrating when I don't get rated. It doesn't feel good to not even be acknowledged for your efforts. I really try to rate everyone who sends me anything and I do my best to rate right away. If I've swapped with you, and haven't rated you when I should have, PLEASE let me know... and I'll do it right away.
