Away from swapbot for the summer months, be back in the fall!
I always find it slightly overwhelming to write these "about me" segments. I am a stay-at-home mom of two kiddos--J (almost 4) and baby C (10 months). I am a Christian, and always striving to grow closer to God. In the last two years I have lost 40+ pounds and am thrilled to be feeling healthier and happier. Some things I enjoy? Discovering new music, creating things with my own two hands, cloth diapering, all things coffee, laughing with friends, travel and culture, dancing in the living room with my kids, learning how to live green, camping and nature, and last but far from least....giving and receiving real letters and gifts from the heart. (which is why swap-bot sounds amazing to me!)
Sarah Harmer, Cat Stevens, Coldplay, Norah Jones, Beck, U2, Tegan and Sara, Counting Crows, Ani DiFranco, Dave Matthews, Beastie Boys, Eva Cassidy, and on and on.....
I feel like reading just doesn't happen for me right now (with the exception of reading stories to my children...). However, I am doing my best to try to read the bible each morning...so there it is.
Gilmore Girls, Stargate SG1, Smallville, Heroes, The Office, Road to Avonlea, Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
I feel like there are so many untapped areas that I have yet to explore in the world of crafts. I also feel like there is an entirely new vocabulary to learn when it comes to some of the specific crafts listed on this website...I want to try them out! Some basic things I do really enjoy so far:
-Scrapbooking, papercrafs and cardmaking (I feel slightly insulted that there are so many scrapbooking bashers on here. I love to create unique individual pages from my own mind vs. the kind you can just slap on and go...) -Learning to knit (very newbie, but eager!) -Beading -collage type thingies & mixed media art -paper crafts in general
I'd really like to learn how to properly sew and play around with that whole realm of crafting. I'd also like to learn more about stamping and embossing.
I am looking forward to exploring all the forms of crafting happening on here...so much to discover!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm pleased that you're at swap-bot ... you're a thoughtful and generous swapper, and make this a lovely place to be.
This message being sent to you primarily to tell you this, but also as a swap fulfillment for the "Appreciate your fellow swap-botter" swap that I'm hosting.
Sure, a private swap would be just fine! Would you like to host it? Oh and it doesn't matter what I get in return, I'm happy with a small surprise :-)
Hi :-) I don't have many of them tough, since we could prevent an early birth, I think I have like 4 pieces. And all different as wel, so none three the same... If it doesn't matter then I'd be glad to send them to you :-)
I am so glad my ATC made it all the way to Canada! I was worried. Glad you liked it ... perhaps we shall swap again sometime. Take care.
Happy Birthday a little late!
