About Me

Currently behind on all swaps, to my partners, I'm sorry, they won't be too late, but time seems to be passing by quicker, and days and dates are blurring into one another to fast.

I'm also taking this as a sub conscious sign that maybe it's time I take a break from here. So that's what I will be doing once all swaps are gone. I'm sure I'll be back, but currently, I think I need to back off, as I can't fulfil my obligations properly.

I'm also moving at the end of the month and am in the process of packing and what have you.

Just starting up a small resistance in the great white north that will hopefully take the world by storm. Saving the lemons, one or twenty at a time. By day I edit educational supplements, so the children of the world can grow to be smarter than I am, and enjoy my music as often as I can. Read my mags, pet my cats, watch random things, stand in storms and watch lightning.

Also, for whatever reason, it always seems the mail takes longer to get here. If you've sent me something, and haven't gotten your rating, it means I haven't received the package, I rate with 1 day of receiving packages...as for me half the fun of this is finding out what people thought of the package you sent them.

For colours and the other fun little things: Love oranges, greens, purples

Favorite Music

Here goes......Almost everything, not too big a fan of reggae, but maybe one of the mix cd's i get will change that, who knows. Can't stand new country. Now here's a short list of bands/what have you I like-Dj Shadow, eels, radiohead, Sage Francis, Atmosphere,Tech N9ne, RJD2, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Darkest of The Hillside Thickets, Hayden,

Favorite Books

Any and all by Jeff Noon-Automated Alice, Vurt, Falling Out Of Cars, Cobralingus..et al. Clive Barker Terry Pratchet Neil Gaiman Alice In Wonderland

Favorite Movies

The Nightmare Before Christmas, is my all time favourite. Most Tim Burton Movies Requiem For A Dream Volcano High Super Troopers Goonies The Breakfast Club Gremlins

Favorite Television

Heroes, Food Jammers, Hell's Kitchen, Penn & Tellers Bullshit,Dexter,Henry Rollins Show

Favorite Crafts

Don't know to be honest...I'm just gettin crafty, I guess Mix CD's are my fave so far, it's the only one I've ever done.

These are crafts I'd like to try

This is a list of things I'd like so that I can try different crafts, as right now I'm not that crafty...

ATC supplies, any and all, I think this might be my craft of choice once I get into it...just don't have any supplies

A book on Origami designs, or any sort of instructions

Sharpies of any and all sizes/colours

A nice set of pencil crayons

Other craft supplies, that YOU think would be good.

I always liked doing collages and random doodles, my arts/crafts side of me is even more disorganized and prone to going off on tangents, than my normal every day side of me(which, in all honesty, is VERY prone to tangents and disorganization)

Wishlist

Seems like other people have this up so why not...I'm only wishing for a couple of things currently...

If anyone can find me a good quality picture of the old DJ Shadow curly, stylized "S" I would be forever grateful.

I want to get it tattooed, but any merch he had with it he's taken off the site.

I'm also always looking for a an all vinyl Mayor from the Nightmare Before Xmas, and that's from the original first pressings 10 years ago...don't care what edition, I don't collect for money.

I also have a love for Alice In Wonderland...

Now those are harder things to find...I love pineapple crush, can't get it here in Canada, I also love Reese Peanut Butter, another thing you can't get here.

I love urban vinyl toys, the type of toys you see on www.toy2r.com and kid robot, but please...do not buy me anything ever from kid robot...I don't wish for anyone to support a company that charges $50 shipping on a 3", $4 toy..especially not on my behalf...

Also, Batman is a personal favourite as well.

Art books on "low brow/underground" artists are always appreciated, I currently have books by OBEY, Mark Ryden, Shag, Annie Liebovitz, Clive Barker.

I also LOVE Shel Silverstein, and am always on the lookout for a good used copy of "The Giving Tree" which I have yet to find.

I'd love for someone to send me an ATC, so I can see what they are.

Animals & Colours

My favourite animal is the Seahorse. I also love penguins, and turtles. I love the colour orange, followed closely by greens and purples. I HATE the colour yellow...well most of em, I don't mind a muted mustardy/goldenrod yellow, but "happy face" and "sunshine" yellow are awful. I prefer the more muted earthy tones of colours to their uber bright and happy counter parts.

Waiting Patiently For...

Food & Drink

I love coffee...eventually would like to open my own shop/roasterie.

I prefer smaller/independent roasters to your Starbucks/Second Cup variety.

I also drink tea, I've found I really like the Davidson brand after my girlfriend was nice enough to share with me.

I like sweets in general, but prefer savoury treats...chips,cashews etc.

For chocolate..dark/milk

I love caramel, toffee, and blackberry flavours.

Also, once again...I love pineapple crush...do they still have it anymore? I haven't been to the States in a few years...maybe pineapple fanta? How bout any pineapple pop.

Thank you for dealing with the longest profile ever...happy swapping!

Comment: This was the most amazing package ever !!! You are a very generous and thoughtful swapper. The whole thing was incredibly funny to open. You both found things matching my profile and more personal items reflecting your own tastes. The mix CD really rocks !! :o) (NB : I was excited to discover that track 3 is a remix of one of my favorite tunes by Moondog), and I can't wait to start reading the book. Thank you SO MUCH !!!!
