Now on to the fun stuff...

We all do it, listen to a song, and wonder where they got the beat, piano line, or what have you. Your mission is to put together a CD of the hip hop songs you like, and then find the original versions of the songs that are sampled as well. This will be a 2 disc set. One of the songs you like, and one of the songs sampled. You will have 2 partners for this as sending CD's is not very expensive.

I know for myself, I've found a lot of artists that I enjoy by researching where the samples came from.

If you need help finding the original artists, www.secondhandsongs.com is a good site for research. Trying to find the original may prove challenging.

2 Discs -1 for the hip hop songs, 1 for the songs sampled, go to each partner. EDIT...

NOW...please include the song sampled BEFORE the song it is sampled in, I'd still like this to be 2 discs though...

I'm going to leave more time than usual between the end date and send date due to research.

I will ban anyone that I feel should be at the end. I've had to deal with too many flakers on both sides of the host/swapper deal, and it really sucks.
