Favorite Books

Since I started sewing and quilting my reading is mostly magazines for new ideas. I like to listen to books on tape when I drive or quilt...I like mystery, suspense and sometimes romance.

Favorite Movies

My favorite that I can watch anytime is Practical Magic....it just makes me smile. I like most romance comedies, action...I love Godizilla (silly but I can't help it), disaster movies hold my attention too.

Favorite Television

I hate reality TV! I like the crime shows, Ghost Whisperer, Medium and Lifetime movies.

About Me

I live in a rural area in Northern California about 3 hours north of San Francisco. I have 2 daugthers, grown and out of the house, the second one is just finishing college. I've been married for 30 years. We live in wine country so we enjoy going to the festivities that are always offered around us. I sew A LOT! I like making quilts the most but this last year I've started making purse/bags, aprons and pincushions. I seem to have a pincushion for every season or holiday of the year now and then some! Most everything I give for birthdays, holidays....is home made. My favorite color is blue. We have a cat that rules the roost and we love her dearly. I like to garden and have dinners for my friends in the summer.

Favorite Music

I'm not a music enthusiast...I play it to have noise around me when I am alone. Lastest downloads to my ipod are...Sonny and Cher, Captain and Tenille, Franki Valli, Linda Ronstadt...so I guess I like the 60s and easy listening

Favorite Crafts

My favorite craft is sewing. I do some needle punch and felting. I tried jewelry and knitting but found I just didn't enjoy it.

And then you put the magazines, lip gloss, "anti-aging" sunblock ( does this come in gallon size? LOL). And possibly, my favorite: the citrus shirt beverage insulator ! Everything is great. Comment: What a wonderful package! It was so pretty, I hated to unwrap it. The apron is great. I love that the ties are long enough to tie in front. The bowl and scraper will definitely get used. Ill post pics on the swap site soon. Thanks

I have several pincushions, most of which, I've made myself. I don't have any paticular likes or dislikes when it comes to pincushions because I consider them a collection now! Many of mine are made of wool, I shop Bird Brain Designs a lot and have made quite a few of their kits. Thank you for asking.
