My name is Shyla and I just recently got my first smash book, with two more on the way. I'm married and have two children, four and almost two. This spring I will be graduating with my Bachelors in fashion styling. I hope to make things better for plus size ladies such as myself. I have huge fabric and yarn stash but I'm just rebuilding my papercraft stash after a few years of down time. I also have a huge tea-stash. I guess that's pretty normal from what I've been reading on the web. If you have any questions, please do ask. I'm a little awkward but I try to be super friendly. I really listen to anything but I really appreciate good lyrics. I can't stomach screaming much anymore, though. Maybe I'm getting old.

Anything by Francesca Lia Block White Oleander by Janet Fitch Garden Spells by Sarah Allen Addison my most recent love affairs have been with the Chemical Garden series. I really like anything with fairytale elements in it.. I just read a lot. Period.

I don't really watch tellie, but when I do, I watch whole series. I really liked Downton Abbey and Orange is the New Black. I tend to watch a lot of older cartoons with my son like Invader Zim and Shin Chan.. even though they are way inappropriate for his age. Better that then ADHD inducing, I say.

Crochet is probably my favorite, because it's so portable (I do only small items, a cowl being my biggest project to date). I used to be a Fashion Design major so I sew, but not very often. It's kind of necessary evil to me, I guess. Occasionally I do get the urge to sew or make patterns. I'm really getting back into scrapping/book making right now. I'd like to get more supplies together for that. I have some smash book stuff and I'm getting stuff together for project life. I pretty much have tried everything out there and like to do most of it. I can use almost anything for something and I like that.

Letters. I would love to have a penpal. I really superdy duperdy want a la dee dah pretty journal. I'd be willing to exchange something that's hard to get in your country for one! Also would love the chillingsworth manor collection kit from echo papers.. there's very few left out there and I will love your forever if you find one for me. Especially the journaling cards and stickers/ephemera.

I'm cool with most religions but please don't send me anything to do with Christianity. I have nothing against it, but the items will be given away and that would make me sad. Please, no smokey items since I don't want to expose my son to that. No Disney. Not my racket. In fact, I don't really like most "cutesy" stuff.. unless it's spooky cute haha. Nothing to do with sports. I'm uncoordinated and unskilled. It's embarrassing.
