I got this swap idea from yarnmamma, and though we could make it into a dotee.

This will be a group challenge swap. You must have made 3 Dotees and have No 3’s or below in the last 4 months.

I went on line and looked up what a “dammit” doll was and thought that the members who have made dotee’s before would be able to construct a sturdy enough dotee to fit the idea.

From what I saw, you make the dotee with novelty fabric for what the frustrations were:

Sports, fishing, yummy food,

Some had added fabric sewn on to “dress” the dotee like:

a lawyer, An in-law, Your ageing body ect.

You get the idea it’s what things or people who can make a person unhappy or frustrated.

When you sign up you will list 2-4 themes for your partner to choose from to make up your dotee, this gives the partner a choice.

Here are the standers:

Between 4-6 inches:

When you make the dotee up you will use novelty fabric and add yarn hair sewn onto the dotee not just glued

Add the face onto the dotee like normal.

Have a hanger:

Your dotee’s hanger needs to be ribbon and sewn on.

A tail or tails:

Dotees do not have arms or legs but could have ribbon or Yarn braided and sewn on for the tail or tails.

Remember when making this Dotee she needs to be unbreakable.

I also found a poem on line when I looked the dolls up. You could add it to your Dotee.
