Description:

Welcome!

Please note that this is an international and inclusive swap. I kindly ask that you read the description before signing up.

For this swap you will send one postcard to one partner.

Take a postcard and write down 5 songs (or more) that you enjoyed listening to in the month of October. Jot down your username and the swap name somewhere. Add a postage stamp and mail the card to your partner before the deadline.

The swap is sender's choice, meaning that you send what you want without it having to match your partner's taste. This way we all get to check out music that we may not have paid attention to otherwise.

Please rate your partner a 5 if you receive a postcard with 5 songs or more. Feel free to give a heart if you like to do so.

Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile. No unexplained recent 1s and 3s.

As mentioned earlier, the sentiment of this swap may deviate from other swaps. Inclusivity means we think of accomodations for marginalized people so that they can participate in the swap.

You are most welcome to join

• if you can't afford the postage. Message me and I will cover it.

• if you can't write by hand. Have the text printed out and glued onto the card or written by a helper, for example.

• if you don't have fancy stationery. There are other ways to make mail nice. You could include a personal message, a poem, a doodle, write with different colours, add a sticker... I believe in your creativity. Thus the card can be handmade, a free ad-card etc. It does not have to be store-bought.

• if you have limited speech, struggle making full sentences. See the alternatives above.

• if you might miss the deadline due to chronic illness, disability etc. If you realise you can't make the deadline, let your partner know and ask for how long they'd be willing to wait (If you're anxious, message me instead, let me know who your partner is and I will talk to them for you). If you still can't make it, I will angel.

These accomodations are for people who need them. No scammers.

If you are in the position to cover another swapper's postage and would like to volunteer, I'd appreciate it. I am trying to build a more inclusive, supportive community, but my funds (and spoons) are limited.

If you have an accessibility need that is not listed yet, please let me know.

Thank you for reading.

Happy swapping!
