WIYM: Intl Letter or Postcard for Earth Day

Earth Day is April 22!

Started in 1970 to protect the environment.

In this swap mail either a letter or postcard. Let’s celebrate by using some recycled or reused element. For example, you can use junk mail or paper bags. Old books or flyers. Or not so old. Turn them into writing paper or embellishments. You can reuse stickers or washi tape by adding new glue or adhesive to them. Sender’s choice on what elements are reused.

One of my favorites is resending postcards though you do need to cover over the digital bar code the post office puts on the card.

In the letter or postcard: Share about your actions and ideas around Earth Day. What are some actions and activities you’ve done or are doing? A few examples are planting or working on a garden. Growing food or other items. Or what would you like to do?
