August 31, 2022: Troy’s surgery went great. Now for all the follow up appointments. Monday’s appointment the echocardiogram showed his heart rhythm was off from the ones before surgery & now they want him to wear a monitor for 30 days. It is what it is and we’ll get through it.
August 24,2022: Surgery scheduled for 9 am Friday morning 8/26 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Justin Tower. All is going good so far. Just not looking forward to getting up at 3 am Friday to be at hospital at 6 am.
When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks. But celebrate them with glad cries of “me too!” be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your Tribe.
Be around the light bringers, the magic makers, the world shifters, the game shakers. They challenge you, break you open, uplift & expand you. They don’t let you play small with your life. These heartbeats are your people. These people are your Tribe.
I’m still looking for my tribe.
Thanks for stopping by my profile, I’m Deborah, but prefer to be called Deb or Debbie. My hubby is the only person I know that actually calls me Deborah, dad calls me Deb & mom always called me Debbie.
I’m a down to earth Texas country girl. Grew up in small town & now living in the country. Where you can sit on the porch at night and listen to the coyotes & watch the fireflies. I am married to the love of my life that actually supports all that I do, be it shopping online for craft supplies to being my Dad’s caregiver!
I’m a mom to 2 daughters (2 son-in-laws), a Mimi to 6 grandkids (1 grand-daughter-in-law & 2 grandsons-in-laws) and 7 precious GREAT grand children (6 boys & 1 girl). And another great grandson due later this year! Update on great grand baby #8! She went in for sonogram and HE is actually a SHE!!! She has 3 boys and is finally getting her girl. 💙💝💙💙💙💙💙 And a mom to one fur baby Skeeter, a Chihuahua-Italian Greyhound mix. He’s ROTTEN!!
I upload my swaps to be mailed to my Instagram account. deb_campbell04 look me up & send a friend request. It’s easier to put my pictures there than Flickr.
New love!! Making Junker Jane type dolls!!
ATC’s are my favorite craft to work on. I LOVE making and receiving ones with a 3D effect. I love the demension, the textures any raised element brings to that little 2.5” x 3.5” work of art. I have an awesome collection of both flat & 3D and I love them all. If anyone else shares this love, I’m up for private swaps. I try to match ATC’s to partners profile likes, but if it’s stated senders choice I’m usually going to do that.
Papercrafts: handmade envelopes (all sizes), cards, flip books (new love), journal pockets, and mini books are some of my latest “ohhh I like making these!” crafts. I’ll search YouTube for different tutorials to try out. I have the We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch board, the tag and pocket punch boards and the mini ABC punch board, boxes punch board, flower punch board, frame punch board & mini to large file folder punch board. If you would like any crafts from these boards message me and we could possibly work out a swap.
Journaling: Junk & art are more or less for me. I jot down things that mom or dad might say, something the hubs did to lift my spirits or something hilarious he said (he’s really good at keeping me laughing these days). I can’t draw to save my life! I doodle good 🤣, but give me ephemera, stamps, Coptic markers, glue & embellishments and I’m a happy journalist! I also love to swap small art pages with others to add to my journals.
Besides having a large assortment of Tim Holtz products my newest addiction is Graphic 45! OMG, their papers & ephemera is gorgeous! So far I have:
Lost in paradise
Let It Snow
And two sets I really want: Midnight Tales & Elegance
Another of my favorite paper products is Stamperia. They have some beautiful 12x12 paper pads. Pricey but beautiful! They come in 10 double sided sheets with tags & ephemera in a few of the pages. I have about 8 different sets.
I’m up for private swaps on any of the above crafts
I’m also a big fan of Dyan Reaveley & Dina Wakley. I’ve started adding a few of their products to my supplies. My favorites right now are the Dylusions spray inks. Though they are a bit messy sometimes, the colors are awesome!!
I have a Cricut expressions and a huge assortment of cartridges, a Cuttlebug and Sizzix Big Shot. I’m slowly building my cutting dies collection. I have been using the Big Shot more recently than my cricut. I’m always up for a swap of die cuts. Message me if interested & I can send a list of dies & cartridges I have for you to choose from.
12/19. I love the Junker Jane monsters! I have a board on my Pinterest with a lot of them pinned. I want to try making one. If you have any suggestions, I am certainly open for them. Also if anyone would like to do a private swap with me, I’d love to do one after the holidays. Just send me a PM & we’ll set one up. Thanks!
Troy will take my swaps to post office usually in the mornings of swap date or before. I have a postal scale & we always keep stamps. Any flat mail can be mailed from our rural mailbox. And if I'm in doubt on amount I will add extra stamps. So if EVER you get postage due from me please please let me know & I will send you stamps to cover. I will put my swap in the mailbox in the mornings, mail runs between noon & 3pm. Once I put it in the mailbox I mark swap sent. Our PO closes at 3:30 weekdays and 12 noon Saturdays. So anything picked up at our rural mailbox will not be post marked til next day for those of you that check dates. And anything picked up Saturday will not be post marked til Monday. Another plus about small town living and knowing your mail carrier, if Troy is busy & can’t run to post office for me I can slip my swaps in a gallon ziplock bag and toss in a $10 or $20 and she’ll take it in for me and return my change a couple days later with receipt. I keep track of my swaps when I send & start worrying after about a week when they are being sent in US. You may get a message from me when I feel like it's been an ample amount of time to arrive just checking with you. That way I can start on a resend. I try to rate as I open my swaps the day they arrive. If I haven't rated you, please contact me. It either means I got sidetracked with caring for my dad or it hasn't arrived. Ratings are important to all of us. I ask the same from you upon receiving from me. Thanks.

@thevioletgypsy for January 2017 senders choice ATC.
As I finish my swaps I will upload pictures to my Flickr account. So if you want to be surprised don't peek. But I would like any and all comments on pictures.
I rate your swap on swap only, not the extras you tuck inside. Extras are nice, but I really don’t need them. They don’t earn you a heart. If you put your heart into your swap and it shows in the work, it’s heart worthy. I’m really stocked on little bits and bobs. My likes are listed in case it helps you to incorporate something in my like list into the swap creation. Don’t stress over finding something to add extra. Please? So don’t add extras to swaps to me. Thank you. I have been stressing out this afternoon getting a swap ready to mail next week, but I don’t have anything on their likes list. So I’m not stressing anymore. That’s not what swap-bot is about. I put a lot of effort making my swap, that’s all I’m sending. Just the swap. There I said it. I’m over trying to find things to stuff into the envelope and then worry if it’s to their liking. If I’ve swapped with you many times, if we’ve talked, chatted, interacted over the years here, on Facebook or Instagram then I’ve come to know you some what and probably have something in my stash to send you. Now I feel relieved and can go back to crafting. 🥰
