I tend to be a last-minute sort of person, but please don't be alarmed. I work best that way and always have. In fact, I often experience writer's block up until the due date.

***My score is lower than it used to be. I have a 3. I did my best to resolve this but two of the people I needed to send my swap to were no longer active members of Swap-bot.. What happened is this: I got into a swap about childhood memories, and accidentally stumbled into a hornet's nest of memories involving child abuse that I had kept suppressed for over a decade. I was so confused and generally messed up from that that I didn't finish the swap for about a year. I would have finished it sooner but I was ashamed for being so late, and as I saw it, so weak. I also dreaded having to explain what had taken me so long. It was totally my fault and I deserved less than I got. The people here are so generous! I am still trying to get the item to the last (apparently active sometimes) swapper, but I have no way of knowing if they will accept it, especially as they do not answer their messages. This took place at least 6 years ago now. ***

I write Noblesse fanfiction. I'm kind of finding myself right now, and trying to get my insanely messy, cluttered house in order while taking care of my daughter and kitties etc. I spend my little bits of free time reading, embroidering, sewing, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, watching British television and anime, and playing otome games, Sims games and Twisted Wonderland. I am an ice hockey fan and a lover of music, the ballet, and the opera.
I also love words and spend way too much time trying to figure out their origins or learn bits of dead or unusual languages. I'm studying Japanese and Korean at the same time, but of the two Japanese has become a passion. I would like to get a masters in Japanese when I finish my history degree (whenever that will be).

Fave colours/ house colours - Green! Green is definitely my favourite. Think verdant fields in England...I also love purple. I wear a lot of red and black as well. - Blue and White (like the china) for bedroom - Our kitchen is done in cats and poppies with some strawberries--lots of blacks, reds, and yellows. - Living room: fall colours. - Bathroom: theme is Hello Kitty so bright pink, purple, aqua, etc

It's hard enough living in Florida lol - Anything gory (unless it's surgery or anime gore--I know, I'm weird) Drops of blood are fine though. -black tea. I drink only herbal teas - Attack on Titan - Twilight or any vampires that sparkle, twinkle, etc. I like my vampires to be scary and dangerous and something no one sane would want to be (Dracula, Barnabas Collins, the Anne Rice ones, etc unless they are Bunnicula lol Bunnicula is the exception!) - Zombies (unless they are the Bizarre Dolls from Kuroshitsuji) - Anything that promotes hatred or degradation of any group of people - Gross-out or potty humour--I really just don't find it funny. I mean, I see poop all the time. I'm a mother. - The poop emoji. See above. - Excessive use of profanity

(Monty Python and Gintama break most of my rules but I love it because of the bloody brilliant way in which they do it. But they're the only ones who can get by with it).

• If we're talking food, onions are my big no-no. I can't stand them. Also, I'm mildly allergic to eggs.
• Please don't send chocolate because this is Florida and it will melt into a puddle long before I get it! In fact, I'd say most foods probably will lol
• Please don't send me anything that smells like cigarette smoke. It makes it very hard for me to breathe. I am a classic nerd--I have mild asthma lol
• A lot of perfumes and scents in makeup give me headaches or stuff my nose up or make me look like I'm crying so it's probably safest not to send me anything scented.

About Religious Items: I am an atheist following a lot of traumas that tore my soul out. I would prefer not to be sent religious tracts of any kind or any kind of proselytizing material. I will gladly be friends with anyone of ANY creed provided they do not try to force their beliefs on me.
Christian stickers, cards, etc are fine with me, so long as they do not advertise a specific denomination. I find other beliefs very interesting and will not be offended by cards and such relating to them, with one exception: no Satanist stuff, please! And by Satanist I literally mean "worshiping Satan, the evil one, as a god." I have never heard of Satanist stationary so I'm not too worried. lol

Things with Bible verses, crosses, creches, etc are fine though, and texts and images from other religions are welcome as well; you can never start teaching diversity too early! I would prefer nothing Satanic be sent to my girl, though.
