please throw in any of these in your mail to me if you have them lying around

  • empty tea pouch/bag (those individual packets of tea which hold the tea bag and come with a flap)
  • wine cork/cork sheet or squares
  • used/finished stamp pad (ones where the ink has finished and you would probably discard the stamp pad)

UPDATE (MAY 2021): We are living in restrictions since the beginning of May but luckily international post is functioning (to most countries except a few) albeit slowly. So please bear with the delay in mails.

UPDATE (Aug 2020): It's been a while now since mail has resumed in India, atleast incoming packages are arriving safely. I'm a little weary of the outgoing from here though along with postal service not being stable in some other countries hence will be holding off sending anything for a while. I hope you understand because more than a delay I'd hate missing packages.

UPDATE (June 10, 2020): I hope everyone is doing well and taking precautions while maintaining social distance. Recently some parts of India have now slowly begun partial activity but not my city. So for me we are still on lockdown and the post is not accepting letters or packets yet. I'm really hoping they open up soon.

UPDATE (May 4,2020): So the lockdown has again been extended till May 17th.Sadly I'll be celebrating a quarantine b'day although I would have loved to receive mail but that won't be happening any time soon. Hope you'll are taking care. Anyone expecting mail from me or any ratings please be patient and bear with us. All those still out and about please do take necessary precautions.

UPDATE (April 14, 2020): The lockdown has been extended till 3rd May. I have not forgotten about my mail and will post all of them from my dashboard when it's possible. They are all ready to go out, once the lockdown is lifted.

UPDATE (March 30,2020): So India is on lockdown till April 14th and hence I won't be able to send or receive any mail. Rest assured I have contacted partners and prepared mail to be out once the restriction has been lifted. Please take care of yourselves and stay at home as far as possible and take necessary precautions.

So I've always been in love with the idea of snailmail. I've sent plenty of them while I was at boarding school and I guess it's something that just stuck with me. Sometime back as I was contemplating about getting back into letter writing I came across a YouTube video which directed me here. SO HERE I AM!!!

I'm living in India but I'm a Tibetan. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology and I'm not sure what trouble I've signed myself up for.

I love learning about different cultures and ethnicities, hence have found a special affinity for languages as well. I'm trying to learn how to speak in Korean and read/write in Tibetan. I have always been someone who likes planning and preparing for simple things and they may not always be visible but they exist. So Jan 2019 I began a bullet journal. I'm taking it slow and sticking to rapid logging.

You can jump to the DIY and ABC section to know what to write or send me.

I am also open to personal swaps (containing what I'm looking for-mentioned below). Drop me a message if you are interested.

I am looking for

  • rubber stamps & clear stamps ( vintage themed, botanical themed, retro and grunge)
  • Anything vintage themed(book pages, stickers, diagrams, ephemera, maps, music sheets, illustrations etc)
  • Anything botanical (papers, stickers, diagrams, cut-outs, etc.)
  • Rubber pieces from a sheet (for stamp carving) any size will do
  • Die cuts (botanical, birds)
  • Typewriter typed quotes & poems

NOTE: Please message me if you don't receive my mail. I send all swaps before the deadline. If any mail has been misplaced or doesn't arrive, I will resend if necessary.

Favorite Books

2020 Update: I'm trying to diversify my reading and trying to read more than just the usual.

So I'm not a complete bookworm but yeah I'm a voracious reader. I don't think I can remember all the books I've ever read. My all time favourite genres are

• Adventure

• Crime

• Suspense/Thriller

• Sci-fi

I have read a few non-fiction as well but mostly self help and personal development books.

There's something about a story that sticks with me while I forget it's name/title. Does that happen with you too ? Hence I decided to keep a log since 2019.

Favorite Movies

I think I can definitely say I enjoy a bit of every genre (except war movies or those based in that time) But there are a few that stick with me, even after the passage of time I remember scenes vividly and enjoy watching them again and again. Like,

• Inception

• Shutter Island

• Trance

• Seven Pounds

• Catch me if you can

• Shawshank Redepmtion

Favorite Television

Well this is indeed something that requires the patience to follow and if you happen to miss or hear of a particular show late then the binge watching begins (guilty). You know you've done that too. By the way a few of my personal favourites are:

• Dexter ( I love, love this one. Insanely intriguing). Is it true that they planning to bring it back?

• Prison Break (I think the planning and plotting just drew me in as someone whose completely into the whole planning and organising bit)

• Suits (damn these guys know what they're doing)

• Lie to Me ( I'd be surprised maybe shocked to ever know of any Psyc student who doesn't love this one)

I've reached this far and I haven't yet mentioned this whole new world of K-dramas that I've been going gaga over (Not joined the K-pop bandwagon, yet). It's been a completely new world that has gotten me intrigued about Korea- its culture, food, people and language (Yes, I picked up a few words from the TV series and yes I'm struggling to learn Korean). I don't want to list all the K-Drama, as it's never ending.

I don't have any allergies but I prefer herbal green teas in any flavour except for chai flavour (I get to have alot of those and hence don't want anymore)

  • MARCH 2021 UPDATE: I've been practicing rubber carving for a while now and have now begun trying my hand at lino carving. The medium feels slightly different to carving on rubber. I'm still new to it but if you're interested you can take a look at my work here on IG. If something piques your interest, we could swap print samples.

  • MARCH 2020 UPDATE: I've begun making handmade papers using recycled newspaper, paper scraps, onion skin and garlic skin. I am not very good at it. But if you'd be interested we could swap some samples.

  • APRIL 2019 UPDATE: I began making an attempt at rubber carving to make myself some small stamps to use in my journals. So far they are rough around the edges and definitely need more practice.

While it's been a few years since I decided that I want my life to be productive and minimalistic(I'm trying my best). A big reason I began DIYing and recycling things around me to make optimum utilisation of resources. While doing this I try to pick up a new skill every now and then. It could be small but as long as it helps sustainability.

Also please don't be surprised if I reuse magazines, newspapers and envies for your mail.

Comment: Thank you very much for the botanical theme loaded envelope. I love just everything, was totally surprised to read that you too are living in Indian. Never went to Pune but maybe one time after being to travel again. Thank you very much for all the goodies you put on your envelope, les notepads with little babies are so perfect as I am doing a baby girl book for my first granddaughter wich will arrive end of august. Ho and so clever to write on the back of the envelope where I should tear , your envelope is very lovely too I wish I could put more hearts in my rating.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. I was beginning to wonder that it was time you received it already. That's so lovely that you're expecting to welcome your granddaughter. Because of the way I created the envie, I thought it best to avoid tearing into any of the contents hence the instructions... Hehehe🤭. I'm happy to hear the contents are useful as well. Hopefully someday we get to meet. ❤️

Comment: O my dear Palmo, such a wonderful package arrived from you. The envelope is so nice to begin with, all the stamps and lovely decorations. Inside a wide variety of handmade gifts. I truly love them all. The little lines with flags, adorable, the tree of life bookmark, the hand sewn booklet. You spoiled me so much. Everything is just perfect. I will wear the orange heart on my jacket and think of you when I wear it. Many many thanks, your note was lovely too 💙💜💛❤💚💕໒(❤‿❤)७💙💜💛❤💚💕
