My Etsy Wishlist
Hi, my name is Eleanor.
I have worked in the book business or in publishing for most of my life. My kids are all grown and out of the house, so I am enjoying the free time to focus on mindful journaling, writing, and creativity in general. My husband is a chef, an artist, and an award-winning barbecue pitmaster. On the weekends, we go “thrifting” for art supplies, books, boho odds-and-ends, and vintage items for our outdoor tiki bar.
-colors: orchid, lavender, violet, deep pink
-books, reading, libraries
-mindfulness and meditation
-writing and journaling
-Stickii or Pipsticks stickers
-stationery, note cards, postcards, and stickers with magical, book, or tea designs; blank coloring postcards for adults
My favorite genres are classic literature, science-fiction/fantasy, and personal growth/spirituality.
The best books of 2023:
How to Keep House While Drowning: A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organizing by K. C. Davis

Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
Joanna Russ: Novels and Stories Library of America Edition
The Eternal Feminine by Marion Woodman
The Stopping Places: A Journey Through Gypsy Britain by Damian Le Bas
Modern Witchcraft with the Greek Gods: History, Insights & Magickal Practice by Jason Mankey and Astrea Taylor
The Wakeful Body: Somatic Mindfulness as a Path to Freedom by Willa Blythe Baker
Roar Like a Goddess: Every Woman’s Guide to Becoming Unapologetically Powerful, Prosperous, and Peaceful by Acharya Shunya
I appreciate each and every envelope I receive! If you are interested in a tailored list of things I would probably not use, here goes: I would prefer not to receive classroom reward stickers, Disney, things with artificial scents or cigarette smoke, free advertising postcards, tea/food, or religious things unless they are buddhist or pagan in nature (classical art depicting things like angels or madonnas is fine.) I respect the religious choices of others, but dislike proselytizing.
Please don’t feel you have to send me lots of extras. My space is limited so I prefer a few nice things over a jam-packed envelope.
If I find myself in the unfortunate position of sending a swap more than one or two days late, I will notify you. If, due to an unexpected emergency, I am unable to let you know that a swap will be late, I will contact you later and send the swap as soon as possible. I rate upon receipt of a swap and I don’t abuse the rating system. I hope my swap partners extend the same kindness and consideration to me.
