MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I'm sorry for waiting for the very last moment to post these but I completely forgot what day it is. I'm mostly in bed with severe double lung pneumonia right now trying to stay out of the hospital. Anyhow, I hope you like the decos I picked out.

Patience is one of my challenging fruits of the spirit. I often smile and say, "I've decided to quit praying for patience; God will send you plenty of challenging paths to help you grow!" Yes, as is true for everyone, I've had plenty of opportunities to develop this trait, and I treasure the journey. One of my most recent opportunities came during months of hospitalization for leukemia. I learned more than I can express. I was tested (mentally and physically :) more than I'd ever dream possible. Much of patience requires waiting and enduring the unknown without complaint. Patience requires persevering, calmly bearing circumstances often beyond our control. Life can turn on a dime and spiral in ways beyond our understanding. Patience has taught me to surrender...completely...to THE ONE who promises to never leave us or forsake us. Who would have thought I'd say tragedy has its rewards? It truly does: "Be still before the Lord and wait PATIENTLY for Him." Psalm 37:7 HE always arrives. We have only to wait in joy for Him.
