At the moment im interested in collecting
I like bluebirds, butterflys, most cute little animals I love anything whimsical :)
There is nothing better in the world than snuggling up on a cold rainy day inside watching movies while making cute little crafty things and drinking a yummy hot coffee, with the smell of home cooking wafting through the room. :)
My favourite colours depend on what mood im in (occupational hazzard) I love mostly neutrals and light pastel colours...beachy colours accented by muted pallets of browns and deep berrys. I think anything vintage is gorgeous. I like things that are delicate and soft .... mmmm angora wool.
At the moment i am collecting little vintage (retro looking) porcelin animals. And trying to find an embossing inkpad (seems stamping is not terribly fashionable where i live)
Please do not send me tea, or seeds or anything made from wooden beads. As australian customs will not let them into the country. I also do not like incense. Thanks :)
I listen to all different music depending on my mood at the time. I can be listening to metallica one moment...then motzart a couple of hours later...or maybe im in the mood for some dancing to beyonce. If i need to chill i love jazz and cocktail lounge music (nora jones etc)
i love crime shows...CSI, law and order, (and good old murder she wrote) mostly because i love the brain exercise of guessing "who did it" before it is revealed. If i need a laugh i watch family guy, southpark, black books.
All of them :) I knit, sew, collage, paint, scrapbook, sculpt, i will try anything i can do with my hands that will make something.
At the moment i have just taken up felting and mosaics (the latter due to demand from my mum demanding i make a meter squre design for her bathroom floor).
I love recieving hand knitted things.....mmm snuggly angora and mohair and hand thrown pottery (mostly because those are the 2 crafts i have not yet mastered that have such homely appeal)
The best thing about handmade gifts is that you know there is love put into them, and the smile you get from people enjoying your hard work is a gift in itself.
