I have 2 kids, ages 5 and 7. I have been married for 9 years and love meeting new people!

Favorite Crafts

I have a problem with Crafts, I love them all. I knit, sew, scrapbook, make cards and I am learning to quilt. I tend to hop from one craft to the next and right now I am in a knitting phase.

I just watched the Ultimate Gift -- very good:)

Favorite Books

I love to read all kinds of books. My favorite Genre is Romantic Suspense and Mystery.

Knitting Likes and Dislikes

As for Knitting, I love everything about knitting. I love finding new patterns. I like Addi Turbo Circular Needles and Bamboo Straight needles. I prefer natural fibers like wool. My favorite thing to knit is something I am going to felt. I don't like acrylic yarns.I like cotton and alpaca. My favorite yarn of the moment is Elesebeth Lavold's Silky Wool -- so soft and feltable:)

I knit a lot of scarves for friends, dishcloths, Sweaters etc. I have knit one pair of sock and plan to knit many more!

Favorite Colors: Black and Pink and Light Blue Favorite Drinks: Hot Chocolate, Chai Tea and Hot Apple Cider Favorite Candy: Chocolate and Black Licorice Favorite Animal: Don't really have one, not much into animals Favorite Foods: Mexican is number 1, then Italian - not american italitan food, but real italian food.
Favorite Postcards: ones with pictures of something from a place I have never been. Favorite Place: Home and then Virginia -- but I still have a lot of traveling to do before I pick the ultimate fav place to be. I have never been to Europe, Hawaii or anywhere south of Nevada.

Response: I know, I was a little tired of Red/Green and Blue/Silver Color choices for Christmas, so I went a little non-traditional this year!

Tami, I just sent the SAME exact postcard to my dad last week after his surgery! Thanks for the nice package, beautiful yarn, yummy chocolate pretty stitch markers, and a great pkg of cocoa that will come in handy after going out to check sheep in our -0' weather. I just put all the buttons you sent me in a jar---I can't tell you what a wonderful thing you did for my soul---lots of the buttons were unusual and vintage just like my Grandma had in her button jar. I can't wait for my little girls to play with them like I played with my Grandma's buttons--this is truly one of the BEST swaps I've ever gotten.
