Just getting started...

I am 27 years old. I have my teaching degree in Early Childhood Education...and while I hope to one day have a classroom of my own, I am currently working as a Special Education Assistant with three amazing children with autism.

I am very random, but I like it that way! I love geocaching, camping, reading, thinking creatively, school (both as a student and a teacher), road trips, lazy days on the beach, chaotic days in the classroom, loud music, quiet relaxing music, Sonic Drive-In, movie theaters, shopping - but not spending money, coupons, family get togethers, sending mail, getting mail, Malibu rum, glitter, makeup, ponytails. Oh, and I'm a big dreamer.

Friends, The Office, Big Bang Theory, Everybody Loves Raymond, Heroes, The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time...

I love comedies... especially anything with Jim Carrey (Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, etc.). Loved the Twilight books...so I think the movies are okay. Looking forward to seeing the Hunger Games too!

Almost anything and everything...80's, country, some pop...but mostly rock! I love going to concerts...some of the bands I have seen are: Metallica, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, 10 Years, Papa Roach, Mudvayne, Korn, All That Remains, Three Days Grace, and a ton more. My dream is to one day go on tour with a band as a roadie.

My Favorite color is what I like to call Caribbean blue, or beachy blue. I love all kinds of beachy things, decor, music, lifestyle. And while I only live a short distance to the beach here in Maryland...my dream is to one day own a house right on the beach.

I love gardening. Every spring/summer I work hard growing vegetables and flowers from seeds.

I love animals...I have several kitties and one dog...but if I could have any one I would love to have a monkey. Or a koala. Or a dolphin. Ok...my other dream is to one day own a zoo!

When I graduated from college and didn't get a teaching job right away, my grandmother started teaching me how to quilt. I love sewing now. Not just quilts (they take sooo long!), but I also enjoy smaller projects like purses and totes, placemats, and other things. I started selling some of my things, so now my dream is to quit my job and become a full time crafter and open up a boutique!

I also like to make wreaths, some paper goods, and a wee bit of crocheting. I am loving Pinterest...I have so many ideas and things that I want to try now...but no time to do them!

Things I might like to get in the mail:

Cool office supplies like pens, pencils, sticky notes, notepads, markers, crayons.

Any cool sensory "fidgets" for my 3 little friends...they love squishy stretchy things, noise makers, bubbles, etc.

Cool fabric, stickers, glitter, stamps, ribbon...

Lip balm & makeup. I am addicted to lip balms...I have them everywhere. I have a pretty large and eclectic collection of makeup...but I love finding new stuff. My favorite brands are MAC, NYX, Glamour Doll Eyes, Revlon ColorStay eyeliner. (Please no used stuff...gross!)

Dog treats for my doggy Jake! He's a "beagle" mutt of some kind that jumps around like a deer. He loves to chew up things and treats to eat too!
