My fun reading is mysteries, something that makes me laugh occasionally with not too much blood and gore. I also try to read some of the award winning books and the Canada reads choices.My favourite book is The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd and I have read everything by Barbara Kingsolver.

I like to knit and sew. I love making things out of recycled materials. I also draw and paint and make jewellery. I love patterned origami paper and vintage buttons,especially in odd shapes or textured and unusual beads in blues, reds and purples.

I like folk, jazz,world and alternative music. I like Lisa Hannigan, Damien Rice, the weepies and the new Alex Cuba CD.

I don't know if I have a favourite movie. I like comedy and suspence.

I am happiest when I am making something. My art work tends to combine different media in the pieces. I like to use found objects in my work. I am married and have three grown children the youngest is 20. I love chocolate and tea .I hate the color brown.My favorite colours are blues and purples.

I love to travel and would love to have something that is unique to where you live.

I try to send my swaps out right away so e-mail me if you don't receive your swap and I will resend.I just joined a couple of tea swaps and I actually like most kinds of tea but I love Twinnings Voyage Brazilian Baia, Twinnings Vanilla Black, chai , so if you sent these I would love you ! I don't really like fruit, mint or licorice teas.
