Hi Shaaron,
I do tend to be conservative, although my husband and I just bought new living room furniture for the first time in close to 20 yrs., and we actually chose upholstery in contrasting (but hopefully, coordinating) colors and patterns. We've never had more than one pattern along with coordinating solids before.
Georgia, huh? Our younger son attended college in Savannah.
Oh and in my note to you I told you what color the riskier choice was! You'll have to tell me if you made the right choice when you get everything (but based on your replies I'm sure you did!!!!).
I think since we're looking at a higher monetary value than usual for a yarn swap, it would probably be better to go with safe. If we ever swap again, though, I might be interested in being a little braver and pushing my boundaries. Thanks for asking! :-)
It WILL! Okay, now I want to offer you a choice. Would you like something that I know you'll like (the safe choice!), or something pushing the boundaries of your color preferences (the riskier choice!), or the neutral?? You choose. Honestly. :))))

I just got back from the post office--your yarn is winging its way there as we speak! It's coming from "Gone with the Wind" territory... :))))
Hi Shaaron, I've never been given a choice on a swap before - what fun! I'll definitely let you know when the yarn arrives. Where is it coming from?
K. I'll let you know when it goes out--and I'm happy you made the choice!!

Waiting is always hard, but I'm betting it will be something yummy that was worth the wait. :-)
Hmmmm, now let me see...what, oh what, shall I send you for the sock yarn swap...
