To not de-rail the random thoughts thread too much more with our not so random conversation ... I'm influenced greatly by the number of profiles I read during my first few weeks on swap-bot which stated vehemently that they did not want Christian stuff, and by the great diversity of opinions that I've seen in threads when religion has come up. Because of that, I don't want to assume that people are ok with Christian themes unless they say so. As a priest in the Anglican church, I know that for the vast majority of people around me, faith/religion plays little role in their lives. So I'm careful to leave doors open myself for those conversations, but not to step through someone else's door unless I'm sure they didn't just leave it open to catch a breeze ... LOL, I'm not sure if that analogy makes sense, but it sounds cool, so I'm going with it! Anyway, interestingly, I'm not sure that I've come right out on my profile and said "Hey, bring on the Christian themes." But maybe the fact that I say I'm an Anglican priest is enough ... you think? But then, nor have I said, please don't send me stuff about witches or vampires or druids or whatever ... yet no one has ever sent me any!
Anyway, nice "chatting" with you ... maybe we'll get to swap one day!
