Hi! My name is Leah Mahar. I live in Monterey California (USA). I am married to a wonderful guy named Dan; I have one child Ian (17 year old boy). I am the proud owner of two rotten dogs Thor (Irish wolfhound) and Quincy (the worst basset hound you will ever meet). I also have (or they have me) two house rabbits.
And earlier this year mother needed some extra help so she has moved in with me. So I have a full house!

I enjoy crafting, going to the movies, meeting people, going to street festivals- really anything to be out of the house.

I work as a councelor in a dual diagnosed facility.

My favorite crafts tend to vary with my mood. Right now I am Crocheting a lot. I make scarves, hats, fingerless gloves (love them), I have almost completed my first afghan, and I am now learning to crochet socks.
I have also recently started Needle Tatting and I love it.
I scrapbook, make atc's, sew, quilt, card making, decoupage, you name it I will try it.

Right now my fav's are The Southern Vampire Mysteries and Sherlock Holmes.

I am a Stephen King fan; I read everything he puts out.

I am just starting to read Dean Koonz.

I like almost anything Yarn related! Knitted, crocheted or tatted.

I am not picky about color or style, I like to see what others come up with.

Not a fan of smelly things. I can not stand to open an envelope or package and get hit with perfume or potpori.
