I'm almost 46 and mother of two children of 11 en 10 years old and already 17 years together with GJ. I'm a parttime medical secretary, still going to school to become an official medical assistent.Love to read, spent way too much (and money) time in finding the perfect fabric and can't find enough time to make al those pretty things I have in mind. But just looking at those fabrics, reading the books makes me happy. I like to embroider, to knit, to sew, but all small things. As the children are visiting a Rudolf Steiner school I have been lucky to encounter all kind of creative excercise. So pleased that my daughter is already getting the same pleasure in sewing and making something beautiful out of a small piece of fabric!

Gosh, all kind. At the moment I am quit fond of Robin Thicke, Trijntje Oosterhuis, I am still in love with the Dire Straits, and it would be so wonderful if they would go on tour one day! Samw with The Stones. My son introduces me to the hottest music of this time and I have to admit that I do like rap also.

Have been reading a lot of Jeanette Winterson; Oranges are not the only fruit is really outstanding! I like to read Iris Murdoch, Paul Theroux, Jonathan Safran Foer, mostly books that make me smile or laugh out loud, our those books that are so brilliantly written that you just can't lay them down and at same time you wish it would never end.

Sewing, knitting, embroidery, drawing, reading books on crafting just to get inspired. Quilting is one thing I would like to learn. Used to make all kind of things for the 'seizoentafel': putting things together that are related to the season, and making small dolls, animals, are whatever, as long as it fits the scenery. But all of us are growing up and its time for new things!

What I like is all kind of fabrics, dots, stripes, whatever. No animal prints, no specific X-mass things -but I do like stars-, no tribal things. I like blue, green, purple, white, to be honest there isn't much that I won't get to like. It's just that you need to find a project where it fitts in. But I'm not that fond of the very pink, yellow and black. I like the vintage style, roses, all kind of old fashioned fabrics.
