Greetings I'm Laci I live in Kentucky on the Tennessee and Virginia border. I am retired and live with my husband we have four grown children and and three grandchildren. I love to craft and read,and looking foward to making new friends. I have a dog named Mary and a cat named George. I am a director of a charity called Stevens Halo named after my youngest son Steven who was killed in 2008. It is a charity that donates to childrens hospitals and childrens home. We send handcrafted cards of encouragment and inspiration along with journals and such. Seeing a childs appreciation and smile is very rewarding, our son Steven worked part time at a childrens home in our area. I am looking foward to participating in the swaps and look foward to hearing from you soon. God bless! Just to add a little more about me I'm a freelance writer and poet, I love papercrafts and crocheting I'm trying to learn how to knit. Right now I'm working on cards of course because of my charity, but enjoy making shaby chic flowers and butterflies. I have a obession with teddy bears and butterflies. I'm new to social media so please be patient. I'm home bound now so crafting has become theraputic for me. I'm looking foward to meeting fellow crafters to share ideas with. I have been wanting to try making altered boxes and explosion boxes. I do a lot of jewerly making but sort getting bored with that. Unsure what else to add my favorite colors are pink and purple I'm a girly gal who loves pinks, flowers and lace.
