I'm 36, single, no kids, but have been very active in helping my mom to raise my 16-year-old sister. I live in Northern California with my 14-year-old dog whose name is Hooch. She's been with me since she was just a wee little pup.

I used to do alot of snail mail swaps back in the late 80s-mid 90s...before the internet craze hit. I've been feeling nostalgic for those days and came online specifically to find a swapping community. That is how I happened upon Swap-Bot. I'm very excited to get involved with snail mail swaps once again!

My ipod has 8500 songs on it if that gives you any idea on how important music is to my life. My most favorite band of all time is The Who. Pete Townshend has been my hero since I was 6 years old! I also love other classic rock bands like The Kinks, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, etc.

As for more current music I'm absolutely crazy for Barenaked Ladies. I like the more poppy-punk bands too like The Academy Is, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, etc.

I enjoy all types of rock music. I also like some country, reggae, hip hop but am NOT into rap music. I even enjoy some classical stuff.

I really enjoy non-fiction books. Biographies, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, history. I like the classics. I like fantasy, horror and general fiction. I'm not into romance or mysteries.

Gene Wilder and Bill Murray are my favorite actors. I enjoy comedies the most. I also like musicals like Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Hair, Moulin Rouge, Grease. I like offbeat movies like Being John Malkovich, I Heart Huckabees and Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind.
