I've still not seen phantom of the opera in a theatre/on stage, but saw it at the cinema and got 2 disc version of film and special edition of the film soundtrack.
would be happy to do a private swap for david bowie postcard as i only have one of him, which is of a black and white photograph taken by Mick Rock in the '70's. let me know what kind of postcard you would like in return. I've got touristy postcards (london and places near where I live), arty images (no nudity/none-offensive) fairies (illustration) floral, vintage adverts or piccasso.
Hi Fawn!
I'm your partner for "read my profile and post a comment."
I'm very jealous that you get to look at the mountains everyday!
I wish I could crochet but I don't think I have the patience.
Have a good day and happy swapping :)
Hello, I agree with you about the lack of morals today. I do crochet also, do you make Amigurumis? You are so lucky to see mountains every day, it is flat where I live. It must be good to be able to make your own postcards, I would like to learn one day. Happy swapping regards Jenny
I'm very jealous that you are able to crochet! I would love to be able to make those little cute crochet animals and cupcakes and things. I had a go, but I just COULDN'T get it!!
I know what you mean about modern movies- I don't go to the pictures much because nothing ever appeals. Everything is always so loud and over the top in order to create 'action', you may as well sit in a room and be yelled at for two hours!
I also love cooking and baking. I used to bake treats with my mum on the weekend. It was one of the few things she actually did with me as she was always so consumed with work.
I too would love to be able to draw better - alas my niece has the skill but not the time. I have tried classes - but just get so infauriated with the results - so I tend to do other crafts.
Hello! It was interesting to read that you're trying out lace making and needle tatting - so am I, but I'm terrible at it! Here in Hungary, there are many people who do it, but mostly old women who are guarding their "secrets of the craft" very carefully, if you know what I mean. Do you know any good, helpful websites for it?
Please don't forget to rate me for the "Read my profile and post a comment" swap!
