What do I love about Torchwood? A whole lot. Like John Barrowman, I love that it's a sci-fi drama with humor. Plus there aren't enough sci-fi shows with a pterodactyl ;-)
I like that each character is strong, unique & independent but that the team dynamic is so interesting. I watched 2 episodes of Doctor Who and gave up on the fandom, but it was Torchwood that brought me back and made me give it a second chance (and I fell in love... though Ten helped).
I love Jack/Ianto (I agree with you about how that ended). I love Jack in general-what a mysterious and unpredictable but good-at-heart character.
I'd LOVE a prequel movie. I really miss Owen and Tosh (and Ianto, of course; the teaboy is my favorite).
