Cracker

I am wild about crafts and I mean wild. My poor Hubby has to deal with all the stuff that goes on around him all the time. He even made a very large shadow box on one of the dining room walls to house all the different kinds of things that I make. From Art Dolls, Bears, Prims, Clay, Porcelian and anything else my mind comes up with. My sewing room wall has all the ATC and Dotees hanging there, along with the pindolls. Don't forget the clothes and the costumes (grab) that I make for SCA and Belly Dancers. Oops Quilts, crossstitch, woodworking, beading, tatting, oh my the list does go on.....

I am married to a very WONDERFUL MAN who thinks the world of me.. 35 years .. and counting. Together we have 4 kids, 13 grandkids and so far 24 great-grandkids. They were having them 2 at a time. We both retered from the Medical field and enjoy the time we have at home working in the garden, cooking (He cooks too) and we both are crafters. I guess you could say we are old hippies. I always have a smile on my face and a shoulder for the neighbor to cry on if need be and they all know that. Their secret is safe with me. Even my kids and grands know it.

My favorite color is black and has been since I was very young. My mother sent me to buy an easter dress when I was 12 and I came back with a black one. I also like red, wine and earth tones. Not a fan of pink, neon colors, pale purples, gold jewelry or pearls (I love silver or copper) . I love anything southwest Indian style or color. My hubby and I grew up in AZ.

I walked into a coffee/chess house and a very interesting shaman called me over. He said he saw my totem and had never had one come to him so fast. He put a few things down on paper before he called me over and had me talk about myself. He had written all of the things I had said down before I had said them. He said I had hunted animals as a child for food and I had taken care of sick family members when no others could stand to be around them because of their illness. TRUE. I protected all around me as a young women .. TRUE. I was the shoulder for all to come and spill their souls upon, as I would never tell them what to do (just help them find their way) or tell their tell to anyone else. TRUE. My totem is the mother bear with a wolf walking in it shadow, an Owl, and a Turtle, as I wisely take life in the slow lane. There is no since in speed as we get to the end fast enough. He was not surprised that I had a collection of bears, owls, turtles and elephants with thier trunks up in the air for good luck, but the wolves (I have a few), they have to come to me on their own, then they belong with me.
