Aloha! I will reach a quarter-of-a-century (25) this year. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Between working a full-time job and raising my 2 1/2 year old son, I try to find time for the things I enjoy. After all this time online, I've only discovered swap-bot now - so I would like to see what this is all about.

I realize lately that I am much more of a collector of things. I may never actually use them, but I just like to have them around "just in case." I have a lot of vinyl toys, zipper pulls, etc.

Lately, I've been watching a lot of TV - or rather, recording on DVR and watching when I have time. Currently, my favorite shows are: Hell's Kitchen, Project Runway, Ace of Cakes, GLEE, and I'll still try to catch new CSI episodes. I also spend way too much time watching Dora, Diego, Nihao Kai-lan, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the rest of the Nick Jr. lineup with my son. Disney Cars is one of my sons FAVORITE movies ever - and we must have amassed at least a hundred of the diecast collection (always looking for more).

I've always been crafty, and I like to dabble in a lot of different things...to my demise. I would say I am one of those people that take on a lot of different projects - and will only complete about half.

I like paper crafts, photography, scrapbooking, sewing (although, since I am currently without a sewing maching - I don't do much of that). I also love to bake (my newest tools are the Star Wars cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma).

Living in Hawaii, I have pretty easy access to "kawaii" Japanese and other Asian goodies. Kawaii is mainly what I joined for. I have a lot of duplicate things I'd like to trade for anything else kawaii.

I like cute bento supplies - especially mini food picks and forks (shaped like animals and other things).

Office supplies - different colored/printed items than your usual stock (staples, binder clips, paperclips, magnets, erasers, cute pens/pencils, etc.)

I LOVE Re-Ment miniatures - but have no dolls. My Re-Ment collection is getting overwhelming. I like teeny-tiny things.

I love cupcake-themed items, and ice cream too, oh, and candy. I have a bit of a sweet tooth. I will also love anything with strawberries.

Favorite Colors: pinks, blues, greens...

Favorite Characters: Domo, Hello Kitty, Stitch (Disney), anything "cute" really...I don't really have a favorite character. I don't really care for other Disney, though. My boyfriend is a Star Wars fanatic, and it's rubbed off on me slightly. I love R2-D2.

I love snowmen - and collect cute snowman-related items (ornaments, plush, figurines, candleholders...). KidRobot stuff.

I'm not much of a gamer - not great with the coordination involved with having so many buttons and sticks on one controller...so games I like are fairly simple to navigate: katamari, cooking mama, professor layton series, pokemon.

Allergies: DUST mites, cats, eucalyptus among other things. Also not a huge fan of things that reek of cigarette smoke, they make me sneeze - I will end up throwing them away.

No Disney (unless it's Stitch/Scrump). No Diddl (didn't know who that was until I joined Swap-Bot, not a big fan). Peanuts OK (I'm fine with Snoopy and gang). No Lisa Frank. Not a big fan of reward stickers.

Weird dislike, but I may as well share - I do not like holes/circles that are bunched together (especially in asymmetrical way). Hard to describe, but when I see things like that - they just burn right into my brain and disturb me...maybe like a lotus pod, those really gross me out.

At the moment, I'm walking the middle ground. I do not like anything overtly religious (e.g., crosses, angels, things with Bible verses on them); but I also do not like sacrilegious or satanic themes.
