I am a mom first, to two beautiful teen girls. I married my college sweetheart and was unexpectedly widowed young, so I have raised them as a single mom. I volunteer in our community for different organizations. I also own an online business specializing in boutique craft supplies. In the pandemic, I decided to go back to school, and am halfway to my degree in medical social work! .

Paper Crafts, Cardmaking, Sewing, Jewelry Making ( I make jewelry from reclaimed vintage findings, and Vintage Buttons), Holiday Crafts, and Mixed Media. I love all things vintage. If it is paper arts, I probably have thrown some vintage sheet music or old wallpaper in the mix. If I am sewing I am probably trying to salvage the remains of some vintage textile I have drug home. Some things speak to me right away, and others stay with me for many years before they find their voice.

I have recently taken some classes in torch soldering, enameling, and electroforming for jewelry and have been loving this new adventure!

I like to do tag swaps, I am not sure what other people do with them (just save them?) but I love to use them on packages...plain brown wrapping, bakers twine and beautiful tag. I know many swaps ask for you to write all your info on the backs, I will usually write really small or put the into on a post it so you can use my tags!

• Books; I love to read and have a little lending library. I also have a huge "to read" pile that is waiting for me! No bookmarks please, I never use them :o)

I also love podcasts! Armchair Expert, The Moth, My Favorite Murder, Crime Junkie, Don't ask Tig, Smartless, Literally, Dateline, Morbid and my daughter's podcast Talk2Me are some of my favorites! Let me know if you have one I should try!

• Farmhouse Chic, Antique, distressed style, faded linens, Boho Chic and chipped paint are my jam.

• Favorite colors, all shades of grays, orange, robins egg blue, pink, aqua, periwinkle, red, silver, white, teal, turquoise, and black.

• Favorite scents...I like "clean" fresh scents, lavender, clean linen, seashore, pine etc. But I can't do florals or anything perfumey because it makes me sneeze.

• Old game pieces (especially with the letters L,H,E & C)

• Old silver plated forks and spoons, I made things with them.

• Citron Cars (my papa had one when I was little)

• Frida, Day of the Dead, and sugar skulls

*planners/journals/notepads/memosheets, I sign up for JJ swaps for the ephemera that I use in other projects but I don't do any of these things.

• socks or gloves unless they are xl, I am tall and wear a 12 shoe and have long fingers
