My name is Carolina. I will be 40 next year. I was born and raised in Charleston, SC but have lived in New Mexico, Kansas, North Carolina, Oregon, and California.

My husband and I married two years ago. I have one son who is a sophomore in college. My husband and I both are avid comic book collectors and have some very valuable pieces in our collection. We have two Labrador Retrievers, 4 Cats, Two Fish, Guinea Pig, and a Pot Belly Pig. We live in a small town in North Carolina.

I work in healthcare as a tech on a telemetry floor. I’m currently in school full-time completing prerequisites for medical school. I document this journey on Instagram @carolinainmed

I do like to read non-fiction. I enjoy biographies. My most recent was Elizabeth Smarts book about her abduction. Before that I read Bethany Hamilton’s book. I like to read about people who went through a major struggle or life event and came out of it stronger. I don’t like crime or violent type of books. If I read anything else it’s the occasional Nicholas Sparks or Harry Potter series.

Recent Shows: Anything from MCU/DC: Agatha, Loki, StarGirl. Big Bang Theory!!!! From TV Series, ER, Greys Anatomy, House, Gilmore Girls, Felicity…

Music: I listen to quite the mix. Odesza, Vanessa Carlton, Haim, Cranberries, Evanescence….

I am a Christian but consider myself a progressive Christian. I have friends of all faiths, nationalities, lgbt, etc. I understand some Christians aren’t that way and I’m okay interacting as long as we stay respectful of each other’s beliefs.

I am on a long term natural weight loss journey. I’m not using surgery or injections. If you’re in a similar journey I’d love to connect.
