Hello! My name is Bruce and I am 21 years old. Don't let the name fool you though. I'm a female haha. I grew up on the island of Saipan (a U.S. territory that not many know of), and came to California about 3 years ago for college.

I started snail mail around June of 2018 and have been doing it since then. It's been slowing down lately but I really love having someone to write or send mail to so I decided to join this site.

My hobbies include cooking, baking, watching movies, going on foodventures & boba runs, reading, and writing. I love meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing about their stories and cultures. I feel like snail mail is definitely something that should be kept alive and I would love to join this new community.

DISCLAIMER: I live in an apartment with two other roommates and one of them has a cat (for those with allergies). She doesn't go near my area but I just thought I should let you know.

I'm not really into the whole "kawaii" theme. They're nice to look at and they are pretty cute, but the whole colorful look is a bit too much for my eyes. I appreciate cute things but not the overly cute ones. Sorry!

I can't sew or knit so I steer clear from those things. I also don't want or need anything spiritual or religious.

I collect keychains and postcards that show the certain country or culture. Like famous spots, traditional foods, traditional clothing, a map of the country, etc. If sending postcards blank in envelope, I would prefer if it wasn't of your country/state because I don't know how to make use of those. I also enjoy blank notecards. Regular cards are nice too - blank, Christmas, birthday, etc.

I get creeped out easily so please don't put any mischievous or cryptic looking people, or scary images/themes. Basically anything that might look weird.
