I'm an elementary school teacher living in Seattle, WA. I love crafting, laughing, and reading children's literature.

I love tiny things, especially cute, funny animals. My favorite colors are pink, blue and green. I usually like light colors and pastels over dark ones. I love elephants, birds, owls, octopi, woolly sheep, fish, turtles, hedgehogs, and bumble bees.

I like stripes and polka-dots, stars and hearts, the ocean and the woods. I love to watch the magic of embossing powder melting and watercolor spreading and mixing.

I like to look at things up-close. I like succulent plants that are fuzzy, tulip trees, autumn leaves. I like smooth rocks, especially with rings. I like looking at the mountains. I like watching people interact with each other.

Right now, I'm enjoying beading (weaving snowflakes and bracelets from delicas). I also enjoy sewing stuffies, crocheting amigurumi animals, needle felting, paper quilling, making cards, calligraphy and watercolor painting. I would like to get better at quilting, spinning yarn, knitting, ceramics and sewing on my machine.

I like: Ben Folds, Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, Counting Crows, Sufjan Stevens, M Ward, Death Cab, Tilly and the Wall, Rosie Thomas... Mostly, I like sad music...

I love all kinds of handmade items... I much prefer those over almost anything store-bought. I would love to receive any kind of animal stuffie, amigurumi animal, watercolor painting or drawing(small is great), beaded item using delicas or seed beads, (not anything using big beads or bulky), a crocheted or knitted item... I'm really not picky. If you made it, I'll probably like it. :)
