About Me. My name is actually Emily. Alice is an 'alter-ego' I guess, that I developed a few years ago when I was going through my 'angsty teenager/ uncomfortable stage'. She's tough, loud, outgoing, not quite as stubborn and isn't terrified of zombies, unlike myself. I am, on the other hand, rather quiet, not very outgoing and particularly stubborn. I don't go outside much, for fear of tanning and I tend to enjoy my own company as opposed to the company of others. I live with my boyfriend Eddy in, I suppose, a dungeon, with our five computers and piles of books. It doesn't take much to amuse us, yet it doesn't take much for us to fall asleep mid sentence either. To say we were home bodies would be an understatement, luckily for us, our friends understand and come and visit us instead. ;)

I found out about swap-bot at the post office I work at. A woman is an avid 'swapper' and mentioned it to me after I noticed the pretty parcels she kept receiving. I love sending things( heck I work at a post office), especially unexpected gifts that I know people will love and cherish. Not to mention receiving the odd card in the mail.

I'm currently studying to be a Civil Engineering, I don't know what made me do it - since I hate the outside world, but apparently it's my calling. If anything, I want to get involved in 'green' construction, the idea of homes and buildings that don't have a big environmental impact in both construction and general living / use. Other than that, I guess I'm a complete IT freak. I'm very much into sandbox games such as Minecraft, Terraria, The Sims and Age of Empires. I guess that's my engineering bug calling my name. I spend a lot of time building castles and villages in 16 x 16 bit world.

I'm also a huge fan of fashion, arts culture and zines. I'm a huge follower of Tavi Gevinson and various other fashion bloggers. Their passion for the subject makes me green with envy, not to mention their individuality and creativity too. >_> I try to read zines and blogs as often as I can, I really should start my own one day...

Ip Man, Ip Man 2, Ip Man 3, SPL, Blade 2, Shanghai Night, The Legend of Chen Zhen. If you can figure out the reoccurring theme (without cheating), I guess I owe you a high five.

I watch a huge amount of Pokemon, Invader Zim and Spongebob Square Pants at the moment. I enjoy very dark cartoons such as Ahh! Real Monsters and the like. The things that used to go down in cartoons that children never picked up on and I look back and think, 'did they actually get away with that?'. I also watch a fair bit of anime, such as Trinity Blood, Naruto and Vampire Knight. Not as much as I'd like to, but when I get the chance I do. I don't watch tv, as well.. I don't have a tv. Well, no, thats a lie, I do, but its hooked up to a harddrive and xbox and I don't get tv reception in my little 'dungeon'.

I'm a total sucker for the classics, Animal Farm is my favourite book of all time. I've decided to take it upon myself to read every Penguin Classic book released. I've read two.. Animal Farm and Lolita. For the 15th and 4th time each.. I guess one day I'll break out of my comfort zone and buy the rest.. :3

Anything Comic , Manga or Anime related. I have Spiderman sheets and toothbrush, enough said.

Zines. Stationary and tips for being organised, for I am terrible!

Gaming or computer culture related, I really am the biggest geek in the world.

Music! Old sheet music (I play the piano), badges, posters, EPs from up and coming bands.

Hair pins and ribbon. I have bright orange and red hair, so red is lost on me.

Art. Handmade? I shall love it!

CocaCola in cans. (Not that its actually able to be sent in the post.)

Cutsie and Zombies. Thats it. Both make me hurl and cry in the corner at the same time.

It's also incredibly hot where I live, so anything meant for conserving heat is pretty much useless. D:
