2012-04-26 Just wanted to thank all my good friends on SB for their overwheling support. It's been appreciated immensely. I also wanted to let my partners know I will be out of the country to bring my grandmother's remains home to the Philippines from May 23rd to June 25th. I will be sending ALL my swaps well before I leave and of course there won't be any activity from me on here until way after I return home. I know I won't be able to stay away too long. Hello! My name is Anna and I live in California, United States.  I am a single mother to a very adorable little boy and a returning college student.  I work at a super popular cafe and enjoy interacting with people. 

Its been over 10 years since I've done anything artistic/creative for fun but I have participated in simpler swpas in the past on livejournal.com and other fan sites. I'm a novice scrapbooker and have unfortunately forgotten how to knit but I have a passion for art and it's different mediums. I am hungry to learn and a quick study.  I've been on pinterest and it's like coming home to the motherland! Haha.

As a child I've been a faithful pen pal until my pen pals out grew snail mail. I've also been collecting stationaries, post cards, letters, and notes since then too. For a whole year I was obsessed with book binding. I gave out a whole bunch of hand stitched books but after much tears and blood loss, i decided to leave it to the professionals, lol, but being on here has reawaken that fire. In general, I love connecting with people and spreading love and pretty, pretty things. ^-^

I love all types of music! From gangsta rap to soothing meditation music and in between.  I'm a huge fan of Eminem, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Dr. Dre, Joan Jett covers, old Madonna, Aaliyah, Maroon 5, Lykke Li, and Queen- to name some.

I'm a voracious reader! mI've recently had to switch to ebooks as I've no more room yfor another bookcase.  I am a diehard fan of Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series, Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series and Karen Chance's Cassandra Palmer series.  I used to read a lot of Laurell K. Hamilton but she got too porny for me. I also used to read Charlaine Harris too but got too impatient waiting for installments.  I thoroughly enjoyed her Lily Bard "Shakespeare" series as well as her Harper Conelly "Grave" series.

I will happily rewatch Amelie, the Sandlot, Equilibrium, 28 Days Later, Shawshank Redemption, Moulin Rouge, The Road, Gladiator, Immortal Beloved, Matrix Series, Serenity, Dawn of the Dead, Little Rascals, and Y Tu Mama Tambien.

Whedon forever!!! Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse.  Dark Angel, Supernatural, Dexter, Walking Dead, and Two Broke Girls.

Chocolate, tea, chocolate, gummy candies, (OMG! Chocolate covered gummi bears are the best things since ever!) chocolate, all favors of Japanes Pocky, coffee, chocolate, water, and more chocolate.  I've never tried chocolate pomegranate seeds and I'm sorta dying to. ^-^
