I recieved some great magazine clippings for my Feb wish list. In the crazy for Color group. You are so great. I will be able to use some of the clippings for more than one. Your great!!
Thank you so much for the AWESOME box of candy for my February wish at Granting Wishes!! My eyes almost popped out when I saw that box full of candy!!! Did all of it come from Germany?? I really enjoyed the chocolate candy!
for the yummy dark chocolate bar you sent me for my AFOMFT group wishlist! And Toblerones are special, because they are my dad's favorite, so even though he was mostly a "no sweets" dad, he would occasionally cave and buy one to share with me when I was a kid. It was pretty much the only kind he would indulge in. Maybe I'll save this one to share with him when I see him later this week:)

I have just finished reading Curse of the Narrows by Laura M. MacDonald. It is a factual book told similar to a diary of The Halifax Explosion – the biggest, man-made, accidental explosion to have ever happened in the world. The book describes the explosion from days and moments before to the seconds, minutes, hours and days afterwards. Incredible lessons learned came from the explosion including the moment of birth for pediatric surgery. A terrific story from cover to cover and comes highly recommended.
