My name's Clare and I'm from Liverpool, UK but I currently live just outside the city with my boyfriend. I love to craft - especially making cards and scrapbooking. I've just started an art journal and I'm trying to teach myself how to draw so we'll see how that goes! I like music, films, reading and cooking. I also like gardening but I'm only a novice. I'd love to find a couple of pen-pals to swap crafts, pics and interest with. I'm all for snail mail over email when it comes to friends :-)

I love many types of music; Bands/Artists I like include:- The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Oasis, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, most Motown and Northern Soul artists, Paolo Nutini, 90s Britpop music... and loads more that would take too long to list!

I love horror films, dramas, dark comedies, crime & thriller films and science-fiction.

I'm actually a bit of a movie geek!

1984 by George Orwell is my favourite book

My favourite books as a child were Roald Dahl books - particularly The Witches (which I still love!)

I also love anything by Haruki Murakami and I'm currently reading '1Q84'

I love crime thrillers too - Simon Kernick, Harlan Coben, John Grisham are always on my reading list

I love Oscar Wilde and Sherlock Holmes books.

I also like poetry; Maya Angelou, Roger McGough, Edna St Vincent Millay, E E Cummings, Pablo Neruda

Colour: Purple

Animal: Dogs, Penguins, Quokkas

Food: Italian food, Ice-Cream, Dark Chocolate

Drinks: Wine, Vodka, Beer, COFFEE (so much coffee) and plain lovely Water :)

TV: Sherlock, A Handmaid's Tale, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, No Offence, Friends, Seinfeld, Line of Duty, Frasier

Place to Travel: Italy & New York

I would also love to travel to Iceland, New Orleans, the Scottish Highlands, The Austrian Alps, Hong Kong, New Zealand & Japan

I'm not religious so please don't send me religious stuff; I have nothing against anyone who is religious it's just not my personal interest.

I don't like bugs! Random thing to say but I'm completely phobic of all insects except for ladybirds and caterpillars.
