About Me

I am a mom of 2 boys aged 4 and 5, and a grief counselor for kids. I use a lot of art, music and sign language and theater with the kids and am always looking for new ideas. I love to craft and shop in thrift stores, especially on 1/2 price days! I also love making themed birthday cakes for my boys. It is something my mom always did, and I have taken on the tradition. This year it was a purple castle cake for my little dragon, and a cup cake jungle tree for my little conductor!

Favorite Crafts

Quilting, quilting, and more quilting! Batik fabrics are my very facvorite colors. I have just become a big fan of button fairies, but not captured fairies. Why would you put those little darlings in a jar?

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PEANUT OR ANY NUT SCENTED/FLAVORED PRODUCTS!! I AM DEATHLY ALLERGIC!!
  • receiving Xtian themed stuff
  • sports themed things
  • commercial characters

Favorite Television

  • Amazing Race +anything on the Food Network
  • the TLC shows on home decorating
