My fiance and I are watching the second Spiderman movie right now, and have come up with a conclusion - Peter Parker should just off himself in the next one, because everything seems to go wrong for him, short of a kitten rubbing against his leg and then dying.
I was cleaning up my comments section (deleting non-swap comments) and found some things that I didn't mean to ignore before:
* Which book on Evita do you have? * No, I'm not from Argentina, but I've spent some time there, and that's the variety of Spanish I prefer to speak.
I like cinema, and there aren't a lot of things I can't sit through once, BUT... I ended up watching La vendedora de rosas on 2X fast-forward speed. I kid you not.
The characters didn't seem very sympathetic, and the story seemed to drag on and on.
And a HUGE gripe: I couldn't turn off the subtitles (which were not that well done).
I'm far from being an expert, but with time I've figured out what works for us:
For big parties where there will be or might be dancing, I mix 2 fast, 1 slow, 2 fast, 1 slow, and so on.
For parties or gatherings where there won't be dancing, it sort of depends on the tone, theme, food & drinks served, guests, etc. E.g., music for an Italian dinner might be all standards or tenors; for Mojitos & Cuban sandwiches it would be hip-movin' tropical music.
For exercizing, usually slow, medium, fast, medium, slow.
For roadtrips, as fast, wild and bouncy as possible -- to keep me awake!!
glad you liked the thermos! I was a bit "iffy" on it (didn't know if ladybugs would be your 'thang') but thought the function would override the "fashion". hope to trade again soon and keep in touch!
oh - I just noticed your link to the "Dodge stratus"...we are sisters separated at birth. My cousin drives ONLY Dodges so we all take the piss out of her all the time quoting Will Farrell...
