Hello, I'm Anne-Marie! I'm 30-something and single, born and raised in Quebec, Canada. In October 2022, I bought a bookstore! In my "spare" time (which I haven't found I had that much of since becoming a business owner), I enjoy reading, crafting, surfing social media, watching TV/movies/YouTube, and writing snail mail! :)

I also enjoy baking and decorating cakes and cookies, on occasion. Once upon a time, I took a French pastry course and thought I'd like to have my own bakery/cake business, so I have several wedding cakes under my belt, but things change!

One of my favourite crafting mediums is polymer clay. I (try to) make Christmas ornaments to sell at local craft fairs every year. I also make jewelry, cake toppers, figurines, etc. Anyone interested in private polymer clay swaps, let me know!!

I enjoy crocheting. I haven't really made anything more complicated than afghans and hats, but it's fun. Something to do in front of the TV in the winter, althought I haven't touched my yarn and hooks for well over a year.

Paper crafting... I have been playing around with pocket letters again and having fun with that. I adore anything stationery (Post-Its, memo sheets, letter writing sets, cute pens, notecards, postcards, washi tapes, stickers...).

I love reading! I'm currently working toward a goal of reading 52 books in 2023.

My favourite genres are murder mystery/crime fiction, young adult (all of them, but especially romance and fantasy), and girly fluff reads. I also enjoy a good middle grade/ children's book (Harry Potter, Nevermoor...)

Some of my favourite authors are Louise Penny, Cecelia Ahern, J.K. Rowling, Erin Morgenstern...

I don't like choosing favourites (maybe you can tell), but if I had to choose a favourite book, it would be The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I love the magic and all the imagery.

Currently watching Castle, Ghosts, Sweet Magnolias, and The Flat Share.

I collect Harry Potter stuff! I am a Ravenclaw - that's the blue house, with the bird mascot. :)

I also collect Funko figurines! I have several Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, and Disney characters. I think they're really cute. LOOKING FOR: Funko Pop Jacob Kowalski (Fantastic Beasts), Funko Pop Lara Jean (To All the Boys), Funko Rock Candy Pocahontas (Wreck-It Ralph 2).

I love handmade Christmas ornaments! I have a collection of crocheted snowflake tree ornaments. I also really love anything with gingerbread people.

Themes you can (almost) never go wrong with: * cupcakes * polka dots * unicorns * mermaids * rainbows * cats * cacti * florals * books / bookstores / libraries

Favourite colours: * pink * turquoise / teal * purple * gold * mint green * peach / coral

Unfortunately, I DO NOT LIKE coffee or tea. I will on occasion drink a hot chocolate or apple cider, but for the most part I just prefer cold drinks. :)

However, if it is a swap requiring you to send a hot beverage and you only have tea/coffee, just send what you have. I can always pass them along!

I adore chocolate, but I don't really like chocolate scented items. I also don't like fruit & chocolate flavour combos. Chocolate & mint is great, tho ;)

I like most floral scents EXCEPT rose and lavender.
