Bahahhaaaa, LOL. Cute joke? Did it make you laugh? Well I hope it did. My name is Micheline and I am of a mature age! (insert OLD here) Ha! If you can’t tell just yet, I like to be funny…or try to be anyway. I consider myself a fun loving, sweet natured, kind, considerate and down to earth person. I live in the US, in the HUGE state of Texas on the Gulf of Mexico. I am not an original Texan however, I am originally from a small island in the Caribbean. So you can consider me, a Caribbean Cowgirl! Lol

Being from the Caribbean but living in the states, my musical tastes are varied. My LOVE is Reggae music, Roots Reggae to be exact and none other than the Legend himself, Bob Marley, but my tastes don’t stop there, I love Damian and Ziggy Marley as well, Morgan Heritage, Sizzal Kolonji and Chronixx to name a few. I’m also a child of the 90’s so I love me some 90’s RNB, it never fails to take me back to some really crazy fun times. I love all forms of music; if it makes my foot tap and my head bop it’s all good!

Next to music, a good book is killer! Reading is a great past time for me. I am in two book clubs, one of which I am the host. I have at least three or four books going at one time. Sometimes this makes for a sleepless night here or there but I can say I haven’t been disappointed in what the authors have put on paper. I love reading suspense thrillers, paranormal romance, historical romance, and books in a series; any and everything that I can get into within the first one or two chapters!

So recently I decided to let the books gather some dust on my bookshelf and took up paper crafting. I dove in…feet first (lol) and I am LOVING IT! I’ve made all sorts of things, from greeting cards, flipbooks, mini albums and so much more. I love swapping creative material with other people and getting creative ideas as well. I am very happy to have come across this site!

Like millions of other people, I am currently obsessing over a couple of television shows, maybe you have heard of them: Game of Thrones, The Bachelorette, Queen Sugar, Queen of the South, Animal Kingdom and Claws. Thank goodness that I can record them and watch while I craft!!!

The Basics:

Favorite Color : ALL the blue hues (often wish my eyes were blue)

Favorite Flowers: Yellow Roses and the Star Gazer Lily

Favorite Sport(s): Basketball and my favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs. I’m a big football fan as well and my favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles. I’m also a fan of tennis, soccer, track and field and cricket.

Favorite thing to do besides all this other stuff…??? COOK!!! I love finding recipes for things I have never made myself and trying them out. I like food, I’m a foodie. I like throwing things together and seeing what comes out. Mind you, not ALL things thrown together come out great but for me experimenting is part of the fun. I love to watch cooking shows to get techniques, ideas and inspiration. The next Food Network Star…hardly, but the next Sunday Dinner Queen…absolutely!!!

I don’t currently have any pets but I adore cats and hopefully sometime soon I will have one to call my own. Maybe a fish in a bowl in the meantime.

I’m not a fussy person in the least, I like just about anything that is tasteful. I’m a kid at heart, a GLAM girl at times and a little nerdy in between, just depends.
