My name is Jenny and I am 64 years old. I currently work, but hope to retire soon. I am active in my Church,and Daughter's of the American Revolution.

Any music is great as long as it is not heavy metal. I always have my stereo going at home. Because I like so many types of music I have it on random.

I am not a big TV watcher, but when I do I like to watch any type of sports. I also love Dancing with the Stars.

I have two grown children a boy and a girl. They have given me six wonderful grandchildren and 1 great grandson (and yes he is spoiled rotten) and one great granddaughter.

The child I have at home is my dog which I rescued from a local animal shelter over 6 years ago. Sophie is a black and white cocker spaniel. I couldn't find any blue so took her and she is the apple of my eye.

My goal is to retire in one year and move to Mineola, TX.

My favorite color is blue which is reflected throughout my house. My bedroom is done in dark blue and tan; my living room is done in French Provincial (white/mauve and blue). You can tell I don't have any small children at home. My kitchen is done in blue and tan.

Last year I began using the squares I have accumulated over the years, as well as those others send me, to make afghans for the nursing home. This has become a real heart warming experience.

My squares are always used for afghans for nursing homes. Please do not send me wool or wool blend. The wools and wool blends tend to cause residents to itch. I prefer not to receive dark colors (black and brown or navy). If possible, I would also like to receive squares that do not have big holes in them. People in the nursing home tend to be cold so the tighter the stitch the better.

At the current time I am not collecting anything. I am trying to down-size and get ready for my move to Texas. I have given my collections to friends and family.
