My name is Barbara, Iwas actually born in this teeny tiny town in northern Italy. From there, I made my way to London, and to be totally frank, I am absolutely living my best life here.

I absolutely love writing letters. It's like a little piece of my soul gets poured onto the paper every time I put pen to paper. There's just something magical about the whole process, you know? There's nothing quite like the feeling of holding a handwritten letter in your hands. It's personal, it's intimate, and it's just so charming. Plus, it's a great way to slow down and really connect with someone. So yeah, I'm a total sucker for writing letters. It's my little slice of heaven.

Japan is another one of my interests. The country's culture is incredibly rich and fascinating. From its traditional tea ceremonies to its vibrant festivals, everything really fascinates me. Japanese cuisine is a true delight. I can never get enough of dishes like shabu shabu and sukiyaki, I admit you will find me often in a Japanese establishment sampling new delights.

I am also a mad reader and i do read in excess of 80 books a year, i tend to read a lot of asian author. In my opinion, Murakami Haruki is a literary genius. His works are thought-provoking and beautifully written.

Postcards: if possible I prefer postcards with illustrations, not photographs. Ideally I love the ones with illustrated recipes. Please no Disney, religious, propaganda of any types
