I'm a feminist scholar and professor of Communication, Women & Gender Studies. I love the outdoors, nature, travel, adventure, and creating art.

My favorite swaps are ATCs, ATCoins, handmade postcards, mixed media art, and DAJs, but once in a while I'll participate in other swaps depending on the topic/theme.

Hobbies: Arts & crafts, travel, camping, kayaking, yoga, swimming, scuba diving, writing, collecting Dia de Los Muertos dolls, skulls, and other small items, collecting sea shells, mermaid art, and nature journaling.

Favorite Holidays/Themes/Issues: Mermaids, Dia de los Muertos, Eve, Snakes & Apples, Coffee, Dark and Vintage Halloween, Vintage botanical art, Rosie the Riveter, Virgin de Guadalupe, Cherries, Rockabilly, Tattoos, Insects, Travel, Sea/Beach, Sharks, Guitar, Classic Mexico, Caribbean, Indonesia, Recycled Art, Funky colors/patterns of the 60s-70s...especially floral, Dark Art, feminism/feminist art, contemporary civil rights and social justice movements, activist art.

Dislikes: Disney, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Kawaii or "cutsie" items/designs, fluorescent colors.
