I am a Nurse and an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at a foam seating company. In the past I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate. (I worked with an Ambulance company for years, now only special events)

I was a Safety Manager at a Heavy Metal Farm Impliments company and was responsible for up to 1200 people when the company was doing well. The economy took a down fall and so did the company, I loved my job but changes within the company put me out the door. I could see it coming so went ahead and purchased the best sewing machine I could handle at the time. It got me through my unemployed period.

I love to Quilt and Craft. I have an Embroidery Machine that I love to work with. There is so much that I enjoy.

In my years of crafting I have designed and worked on needlepoint. I can crochet an afghan but I probably won't. I absolutely can not crochet a dollie by a pattern. I can make one but it doesn't look like the pattern and I can't make a second one match it.

Quilting is my Best Craft. It is something that can be different every time. Color choices, patterns, style, and size. I've made a few quilts from the same pattern, but they will NEVER look alike.

I am married and have 3 boy's (actually men), 1 daughter-in-law, 1 grandchild on the way, a new daughter-in-law to be, and soon to be 4 year old granddaughter, and my youngest son is at Auburn University, no plans to marry or have children in the near future.

At my house there are 3 pets. We have a cat, chuhuahua, and a blind 50 lb mixed breed dog.

I like all types of music, but my favorites are 70's and 80's rock, Contemporary Christian, and current country.

Mysteries are my favorite. All books by Nora Roberts and J.D. Robbs. Gone with the wind has been a favorite. I've read it twice. I love Audible books because I can listen and work on projects. I also have a kindle that I love because I can carry a huge library with me. You just never know when you might need something to do.

An Affair to remember, the first one with Cary Grant. I like the old movies back when they had stories. I loved all Toy Story movies, I love the adult jokes, that children can't see.

Quilting, all types. I like traditional, but love working with bright fabrics Embroidery- I have a Bernina Deco machine. I may have to stand on my head to get something to hold in the machine, but I have not found much that I can't embroidery.
