CarrieZee, where do I even start?! Okay, first I have to say I love your when you talk about waking up and getting your paper in your bare feet. I feel the same way. There is something to be said about having your feet upon this earth! I think it's one of the best feelings ever and really the main reason I travel.
I, too, have a few friends who are vegetarians. I've enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen and am finding new recipes each day that are slowly cutting back on my meat intake.
My husband has been taking a lot of classes on how to green homes, building etc. and has been doing lots to our house. Between the two of us we try to recycle, upcycle and reduce waste as much as possible.
I also just read another profile talking about Bento. I love those containers. I feel that having nice plates, containers, kitchenware helps one eat better and enjoy food. And I can say ditto on all of your no thank yous; especially mean people and rude drivers!
All, right kindred spirit I'm glad that I stopped by for the "Read My Profile Swap" I know I'm cutting it to the last day but that's why there are deadlines right :)
Dear Carrie Zee, it's wonderful to be getting to know individuals through the "Read my Profile and Leave a Nice Comment, swap" as that in itself is bringing everyone together. It seems we have a lot in common, with one of your daughters studying environmental sciences and you all aiming to reduce, re-use, and recycle! That's truly a wonderful way to be, helping the environment and seeing that all materials not go to waste. I am the same, and tend to keep all my rubbish as I feel I always make use out of it in a new form of way.
That is nice to know that you are enjoying cooking Vegetarian meals. Do you have any favourites? I have been a Vegetarian since late last year, and I am enjoying the diversity of cooking, and always finding new ways of cooking with ingredients. Possibilities are everywhere. :)

Where you live sounds like paradise with the various fruit trees and the squirrels awaiting you. :)
Your philosophy of 'where there is great love, miracles happen' speaks to me greatest, as I feel this is truth from within from all heights and this love we all contain inside sparks out onto the world unveiling our natural self - our kindness.
