My name is Mikki!
I am a 43 yr old married mom of 3 kids (age 26, 18 and 14) and married for 20 yrs. I am a S@HM. Currently living in Montgomery, Alabama but I am originally from a small town in Louisiana. I am a hard one to describe on my own..classy, sassy, a bit smart assy.....nerdy, dirty, inked and curvy...I can be very sarcastic and snarky sometimes. I can have a dark sense of humor.

In 2021, I am participating in 3 different reading challenges: Agatha Christie’s Read Christie 2021, The 52 Book Club and Spacetime Reading Challenge 2021. I will be overlapping some of the Christie books with The 52 Book Club prompts. I will be keeping track via shelves I've created on my Goodreads profile. I've never read Agatha Christie and figured this would be the perfect opportunity. My reading is usually all over the place, to include true crime, YA, comic books, etc. I am always looking for and appreciate book and reading recommendations.

I am a HUGE geek. I am a multi-fandom fangirl. I'm also a HUGE Trekkie! I'm also a True Crime junkie. Yes, to include serial killers. I'm pretty sure I've watched every show that exists about Ted Bundy! I love watching Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, Unsolved Mysteries, etc.

I've been a Pagan for 30+, practicing for well over 20. I guess at this point, I'm just an eclectic old crone. I do the work when I need to and how it needs to be done. I don't follow the 3 fold law. My path has changed so many times over the years, I can't be put into a specific tradition/path/belief system. I am a devotee of Hekate.

I love swapping here. I started on Yahoo groups around 2002, then moved to Live Journal, which is where i found out about Swap-Bot. I mainly swap postcards now, but I will occasionally do other swaps. I believe in rating as required and will do it. Speaking of ratings, if you don’t have one from me it means one of two things: I haven’t received it or the rating didn’t stick. Please don’t hesitate to ask! Also, please don’t feel obligated to rate with a comment or a heart. You are more than welcome to, but I don’t take any offense if you don’t do either. Collector of tchotchkes

I like to collect random things of stuff that I like. Some of my more specific collections are:
* Star Trek memorabilia
* Funko Pops
* postcards and used stamps (since I'm 11)
* Enamel pins, especially Star Trek from Fansets
* pressed pennies, especially ones from Disney
* Books...I love books from my favorite authors!

Those are the bulk of my collection but I do like to collect other odds and ends from my likes. Like a random Deadpool figure or Niffler plush.

Regarding Swaps....

If I have not rated you for a swap, please do not hesitate to message me about it. If you're going to be late sending a swap, just tell me. I would rather you communicate with me than say nothing at all. Believe it or not, I'm pretty understanding and forgiving!
If you feel the need to send extras, please do not send stickers or bits of paper. I have no use for them. What would be appreciated is a postcard stamp or 2 or international stamps.
Also, a small pet peeve of mine is that you please spell my name correctly, especially on postcards. My name is Mikki, not Mikkie or Nikki. My name is spelled correctly on my address information and I would greatly appreciate it if you spell it appropriately.

Postcard wishlist

I've been collecting postcards since I'm 11...so for over 30 yrs now. And I never had an issue with postcard tears until I started getting them with stickers and washi tape. It was only recently pointed out to me by another swapper's profile as to what is causing them.
